Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill

Service was nice and all but the food was so flavorless. The warm paper (tortillas) were doughy and the expensive taco had no flavor at all. The tortilla soup had so much salt I couldn’t even finish it. I will not be going back ever.

dang! that was one good burrito especial with steak i had today. they had plenty of steak and i was just grubbin on that thing. yum yum yum! keep making them like that I’ll be coming back for more of that. oh yeah, and that fish taco especial also hit the spot. =D

Heathy delicious and fresh love their Health Mex chicken burrito! Highly recommend it wheat burrito so tasty with black beans and rice yummy!

I ordered the tortilla soup and fish taco plate with drink combo and the food was great. I’ve never been disappointed with the food there.
The reason for the 3 stars is due to the service. I wasn’t given the drink and had to ask for it and upon asking the young lady for the drink she responded with «didn’t I give you one already?» If that was the case I wouldn’t be asking for the drink cup. I was by myself and you would clearly be able to see if I had a drink already as I’m sitting in front of the registers. Then it seemed as if she was bothered when I asked for a spoon for my soup.

Been there twice! so far both times the employees have been nice and helpful :) food is good and salsa bar is great! :)

Kim the manager has a heart of gold. My card was getting declined (magnetic strip worn out) and she covered our lunch! What a heart of gold and the food is amazing as always. Definitely coming here again!

This is the worst Rubio’s I have ever been to.
Dirty, sticky tables.
Messy floor.
Slow service.
20 minutes and an order of nachos still not ready?
The store was not that busy, I canceled my order and left.
Oh, and the exterior signage lights not working as an added bonus.

California bowl is amazing. The staff isn’t always the friendliest, but their food is too good not to come back.

I usually like to eat here because i feel that for fast food is not so fattening. I usually get the classic chicken tacos plate. Not bad. However, you can tell rice and beans are not fresh, but the tacos themselves are pretty good.
What I didn’t like today was the service. The guy at the register was a little rude and snatch the money out of my hands. When I gave him extra change so I could get a solid $ 10 and some extra pennies he was annoyed and said «now I don’t know how much to give you back.» I wanted to say, not my fault you don’t know how to add and subtract you idiot, but I just told him he owed me $ 10.02. But I was annoyed with his little tone. Maybe it’s not his fault he looks a little weird. Lol.

I absolutely love their fish tacos! The best ever! Also their Diablo sauce and red salsa are the best! Their customer service is not that great and their bathroom which is right by tables smells like sewer! They have a huge container of utensils that doesn’t get cleaned out much so if u are getting from the bottom u might find crumbs, lint or hair. I also witnessed the cashier grab a wet towel wipe the trash then wipe the tables! So grab ur food to go and use ur own utensils. The food is amazing.

Great food. Fast service. Place gets busy around lunch time. I would recommend their California Bowl, Shrimp Burrito, and you can never go wrong with their Fish Tacos. Their lobster burrito is the best but unfortunately it is only seasonal around September-​November :(
All in all, great place for lunch and never disappoints.

My first ever visit to a Rubios! I tried the Mahi-​Mahi taco plate. It was excellent! Very tasty and very fresh! Only wish that there was more of it… With a soft drink + tax, I was charged just shy of $ 10. Seemed a bit high for the portion size delivered. A couple of dollars less or else larger, meatier tacos… and this place could easily rate five stars!!!

Best tacos in town I love this place you need too try there fish and shrimp tacos there excellent.

I got really good service here. Tried the mahi mahi salad for my freebie birthday. It was good, and a better spend for the money than going to Chipotle. They added the black beans for me.
I have a certain few favorite dishes here.

Good people, good atmosphere, good food, good location. I’d recommend it to anyone. I’m particularly fond of their gourmet tacos (steak), and I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad meal from there. Excellent service as well.

It was a long day at work followed by a long visit with my dad at a nursing home. I just wanted to run into Rubios, grab some fish tacos, go home, and unwind.
It didn’t happen. I ordered my food and stepped aside to wait. And wait. And wait. The service was slow and disorganized. I watched the manager (Marc) shuffle around receipts trying to expedite orders. You could tell he was frazzled because he kept running his hands through his hair and touching his face (I’m sure he was doing this unconsciously but I found it a little unsanitary since he was touching people’s food.)
I watched food go up and sit. There was one box that sat up on the counter for over 10 minutes without being touched. After waiting for 30 minutes, I went up and asked about my order. They fumbled for my receipt and then shoved some stuff into a bag (including the box that been there forever). I told the manager that I didn’t want the food if it wasn’t fresh. I can’t believe he tried to give me old food after I had been waiting for 30 minutes! Instead of waiting for them to make my order again, I got a refund and left after 40 minutes with no dinner. The manager said that they were working with a new system and apologized but the service was unacceptable and quite frankly pissed me off.
It wasn’t just me that was frustrated. Several people were upset about the wait time and several people were bringing back food or received their orders wrong.
What a waste of time. Unless you have lots of free time and don’t care if your food is fresh don’t come here.

Great customer service, this place is always clean. As well as you will always see the employees doing something useful like cleaning up or taking your plates to the trash. Usually always order the same thing (fish taco plate) super yum and pricing could be a little lower but it’s still worth gettin then some drive thru!

This is my favorite location for the service and people working. I swear their nicer here. I like the kids quesadilla and best part is that it’s not greasy! Oh and you get a churro too.
The chicken tacos are good too. I actually had my first chicken taco here. I swear I’m not weird.
Overall good food and service!

Came for lunch today and was not impressed with the food. Ordered the nachos with chicken and even though they looked delicious they were not. Beans had no flavor whatsoever. It almost appeared like they were spoiled. Also got a gourmet shrimp taco and that was delicious. At almost $ 5 it better be delicious lol. Service was great however and manager very attentive as he kept asking if everything was ok. Will come again due to great service but will only get the gourmet shrimp tacos. Everything else to bland for my taste.
