Came here by accident because the place I originally planned to go to couldn’t see me. Ray was very friendly and honest and took care my smog check quickly.
And when I was filling out paperwork, I accidently wrote down the wrong amount, but when Ray noticed, he immediately fixed my error to the correct price, which was actually lower than what I had written. Chances are that if he hadn’t pointed it out, I never would have noticed. I really appreciate that honesty.

One of the few places open on Sunday, Ray at Lambert Smog Only Center provides excellent customer service at competitive rates. The spot is a bit hidden — and a actually on Palm, N of Lambert directly across from In-​n-​Out. I run a Chamber of Commerce so I can always appreciate the honest, hard-​working small business owner who is passionate for providing a good service with the difficult business climate and larger-​scaled, glossy competition that’s out there. DID I SAY THIS PLACE IS OPEN ON SUNDAYS? Great rates? In and out service? Gave me a bottled water to go? I gave a top score. Thank you Ray. Will tell my friends.

I called Ray the owner to see how busy he was and he said bring it in. Brought in my 2000 Chevy Silverado and had it done in 15 mins. He uses the new method of going through the computer instead of hooking up to the tailpipe. Ray is a super nice guy, I’ve been going here for years. I highly recommend him to everyone, thanks Ray.

This is one of the best smog place I’ve visited in a long time. Ray is super friendly and he’ll get your job done as promised with nothing hidden. Just remember that his shop is behind the other smog place that’s on the corner of Palm and Lambert.

I went on a Sunday as this place was one of the two local places that were open. Ray, the owner, was friendly and fast. And since I passed I can say I was very satisfied. The place is a little difficult to find as it is in a second row of buildings at a right angle to the first. Your best bet is to head down Lambert and where In n Out is on the south side on Lambert turn north into the parking lot directly across the street.

Had a great experience, open on Sunday. $ 40 for my 04 corolla. Ray was very nice. Gone are the days of putting a sensor in your tail pipe (not a euphemism), it’s through the OBD connection. Whole process was less than 10 minutes for me. Would recommend. 5⁄7.

Not cheap, but the service is good. If you fail you still have to pay, but considering the man has to make a living, you can’t really fault him for charging for his time.
I was treated well. I was glad to find someone who wants to understand the vehicle before testing it, instead of just plugging it into the computer and watching the screen.
NOTE: as other people have mentioned. There are multiple smog places in this business complex. Don’t enter the driveway on Palm closest to Lambert! The Smog and Repair station has lousy customer service and I was only too relieved to be redirected to Lambert Smog Only. Look for the small sign over the door.

First off, you will pay even if you fail! If you have an older car and are even slightly concerned you won’t pass, don’t go here! There are plenty of other places that are pass or don’t pay. Next, when I went he was in a hurry and wanted me to dropped off my older car so he could push through all the new cars first. My car failed and he complained to me about what an inconvenience it is to him when cars fail. To him!?! My car just failed a smog check, that’s pretty inconvenient for me too.
I was able to take my car to another pass or don’t pay shop and with a little tlc my car passed.

Make sure you go all the way to the back of the lot! There is another smog place at the front of the lot.
I’ve been here several times now. Ray is always friendly and honors the deal on Unilocal if you mention it. When I walked in today he showed me to the coolest seat in the waiting room, right by the fan, and then brought me a cold bottle of water. A friendly place that treats their customers with respect… what more can you ask for when you get that dreaded notice from the DMV that it’s time for a smog check?

I want to correct a review I previously posted about this place of business. There is another automotive center directly behind them… I called Lambert Smog Only Center to ask about getting a smog check at a certain time and was told yes, the gentleman would be there and yes, the price was as listed online. When I arrived, the attendant was not there and I was instructed to go around back, where I received service I was not happy about. This was a separate location, but I did not understand that since the buildings are connected. I’m sure Lambert Smog Only is a great, honest place of business. Just be aware when advised to stop in at their neighboring automotive center that pricing and service are different.

This place is one of the very few places I found that was open late on Sunday. The owner is extremely friendly. When I checked in on Unilocal it was only $ 40. The recent bad reviews by the other Unilocalers seems to be because they went to the wrong place. This plaza are full of auto shops with multiple smog spots. See the attached image to make sure you’re going to the correct place. Highly recommended.

Biggest rip off ever. I have brought my previous vehicles in before and didn’t have problems.
Recently this man has been charging more than the usual price of $ 40, my mom’s car was $ 47 for some reason not too big of a issue.
And better yet I talked to him over the phone last week and he said to smog my husbands diesel truck would be $ 40 as well.
My husband took the truck there only to be told $ 67.25 when he told the owner it was supposed to be $ 40 he gave a $ 10 discount for a total of $ 57.25. A diesel is even easier to smog than a normal car.
How does this man get off trying to charging almost $ 30 more than what he said over the phone?
Looks like I will be taking my business else where from now on.

This place is awesome. I called here on a Sunday morning to get my smog check done. Ray told me it would take about 15 minutes. Got there and was in an out in less the 15. I am coming here for all my smog check from now on.
Please make sure you go to the right place. It is on the corner of Lambert and Palm. It is across the street from In & Out. His shop is in the back not the one in the front of the corner.
Ray also gives you water but I didn’t take it because I have about 100 half empty water of bottles in my truck. Now I gotta clean my truck.

Good price open on Sunday’s… This place is not on the corner… It’s in the back
