Can’t seem to find a decent nail place anymore. Came here to get my nails fixed because the lady that did them yesterday didn’t let them dry so my polish was chipping/​smudging. Came here and told them I wanted it removed, use my polish, then the gel coat on top. They refused, charged me $ 7 then sent me on my way. What great customer service. No wonder I never see anyone here.

My regular nail spot was super busy so I came here instead. Lesson learned! I had to wait, which is expected. But I think the lady tried to make up for the wait by RUSHING through my gel set! Very sloppy and the color is uneven. Several times while my hands were under the light, she moved it and dinged the fresh polish! Overall, a very unpleasant experience. I shan’t be returning here any time soon.

This place is horrible, my mom has gotten her nails done more than once here, and unfortunately she always leaves unhappy. I guess one can say that she gives people too many chances. Anyways, the women are very rude and unwelcoming, and the vibe there is very cold. They totally need to change their attitudes, especially when it comes to answering the phone!

I’ve been here on and off over the past 15+ years. They use the blue powder in the water which I like, have massage chairs and always do a nice job on my pedicure. No wait today either. I was driving around looking for a new nail place and stopped in another salon first before coming here but promptly left because it didn’t seem clean, and then I remembered Elegant Nails. They have a large shop, it’s clean and the ladies are friendly. So glad I came here. Will come again.

I have to say the shop is nice and it’s clean, that is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one.
Other than that I was not impressed. The girls immediately got attitudes because I didn’t want to take their up sell services. No one smiled or was friendly, the girl who I turned down for a manicure kept glaring at me and the girl I had was muttering under her breath. I felt like it was a real imposition for her to give me a pedicure. She cut my toe, Im not sure how but it still hurts and she didn’t even apologize.
I get pedicures very regularly so it’s not like it was a lot of work.
Maybe everyone in the shop was just having a horrible day?
I won’t know since I won’t freaking be back.

They get two starts because Bill was kind and talked English for most of the time.
Other than that they were the rudest bunch of people I have seen. All of the women spoke to each other the entire time. I asked how much a gel pedicure would be and was never even given a answer from three seperate technicians they all just ignored me. I will stay with my nail salon in Orange.
Even worse the «boss» came over and took my moms nail polish with out even telling the technician. He needed to polish her nails and the boss refused to say a thing about her taking it. Nancy is the name they gave us for her and then it changed to (Too or something like that) that is exactly what they told me. She is the rudest woman I have ever meet. And her staff seemed to be just as rude after I called her out for talking the polish.
FYI she never even brought it back. She painted another customers nails with it while my mom was waiting.
I will never be back here.

Was ok with this place a few times, but after my last experience, won’t be returning… and I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before, but felt so strongly about this, just HAD to…
Got a gel mani on Sat, by Mon, had a chip. Then by Tues, one of the painted flowers was chipping, and I had a chipped & broken nail! Mind you, I love to laze on the weekends, so I hadn’t done anything strenuous with my nails. For $ 53, including a pedi, I would expect the gel mani to last at least the 2 weeks.
So decided to finally go back in on Wed. When I told them why I was coming in, they looked at me like I was crazy. At first I didn’t know if they were even going to repair it. They were taking in their language, the way that makes you feel like they’re talking shit about you.
Finally, after waiting, because they had customers they were working on, they «fixed» only my problem nails. At first, she only did the chipped ones. Then realized that the color was darker now, so she HAD to do the others. The broken one, she didn’t even file!
NEVER RETURNING THERE AGAIN, and suggest you go elsewhere, since there are an abundance of salons in the area.
Wish there was a ZERO STARS rating!

She made me bleed and didn’t clean it or acknowledge it! I’m afraid it’s going to get infected now :(

I’m a fan! I’m not really picky and fancy when it comes to manis and pedis… after all, I don’t get them monthly. I checked out this place about a month ago and the service was great and so were the prices! I got a spa mani/​pedi for $ 20! I don’t think you can beat that. The massage that comes with it was really good and the ladies are very nice. Knocking off one star, because I don’t think they have a/​c and that made the experience a little uncomfortable for a pregnant woman like myself. :(Other than that, however, I will be back!

Have gone here for several years, but no more after last Monday, came in at 10:30 am, with a friend, 4 people in chairs, and 4 workers, they told me to have a seat, they were calling in others to work, we waited 35 min, not once did they acknowledge us as we waited and waited, I walked out. I always tip them well and they know it as they know I am stressed and busy and the massage is well worth it for me, but the rudeness I am totally over it.

The only place I’ll get my nails done. Ask for Hannah. She gives the best manicure I’ve ever had. The gel lasts for weeks. The prices are a bit higher than nearby salons, but you get what you pay for. Come here, you won’t regret it.

I love Elegant nail salon! I used to go here with my mom, back in the day when they were still on Beach and La Habra blvd. Many years later, I still come here every so often. DAISY does an amazing gel pedicure and is always very pleasant and kind. The entire salon is spotless! As long as I live in La Habra, this is my spot!

I have been going to elegant for awhile now at least 3 years. In my opinion, the quality of mani/pedi’s have gone down and their customer service is terrible. I constantly feel like they don’t want do the mani or the pedi. And Gigi is the absolute worst. I swear she does a bad job on purpose. My nails are always uneven and CROOKED! And on top of that when you ask her to fix it she gets upset, «tries» to fix it by filing extra hard then will talk crap about you to the other ladies. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because others like Daisy, Bill and Hannah are good. Problem is they aren’t always available. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back anymore. Won’t waste my money on a mediocre mani and pedi.

This is my favorite nail place been comming here for a year. Bill does my manicure with gel and knows how I like always makes me happy. Everyone does a great job. Al ways leave feeling great.

I just don’t understand. I came in here for a spa pedicure. The girl pushed back my cuticles on my toes and scrubbed the bottom of my feet, then massaged them and put the nail polish on. What happened to the grooming of the nails and the surrounding skin? I have never gotten a pedicure where they don’t take the handheld trimmers that look like little pliers and remove the dead skin and hardened skin around the toes. The typical «clean up» if you will. I also should have really paid attention to how many coats of paint and clear she put on because the very next day four of my toes were already chipped. I paid $ 15 because of the mon-​wed deal. $ 15 special for a spa pedicure and that’s what I got. I used to go to this salon about ten years ago and the work was good but all the girls talked crap on you while you were there and were very rude so I didn’t return. I saw they changed owners and decided to give it a try. Why are there no good nail salons anymore? So disappointing.

Very clean. Nice and friendly staff. A friend recommended a long time ago and I’m sorry I waited so long. Too many questionable nail places out there and I’ve been to most of them. They did a great job and the foot rub was terrific! I’ll be coming back for sure.

So far I’ve been here 3 times and all 3 times have left me impressed and so happy with how my nails turn out. The first time I got acrylics with a dark color gel finish. BEAUTIFUL! People kept commenting on how nice my nails looked and asked where I got them done. I like a more natural look on my nails though and that is what I got the next 2 visits.
Minh did them this last time and my nails look completely real! He knows what he’s doing! I told him what I wanted and I got exactly what I asked for. I couldn’t be any happier! I’ve had 3 different manicurists now and love all 3. But I am going to request Minh from now on for sure! He also walks around to make sure you are comfortable and offers pillows for your chair.
I’ve been to other places in the past who have cut or burned me before for both manis and pedis but not Elegant Nails! It’s so relaxing in there.
They are fairly quick too depending on what you’re getting and in my opinion, the prices can’t be beat!

It was the first time here, I did my nails and pedicure. My nails end it up with a few gaps, all the food gets stock in, annoying. And the pedicure was ok, but they couldn’t do my dosing as I asked.

Today I went to this nail salon thinking that I would get my nails done WRONG
What I received was a CUT ON MY TOE and the nail lady first response she started LAUGHING while my toe bleed no apology she didn’t even offer anything to clean off the fresh blood as it continued bleeding ALL I WANTED WAS FOR HER TO APOLOGIZE BUT SHE DID NOT SHE LAUGHED AND SAID NOTHING else there was one of her co workers that mentioned she had not done so because of a language barrier I told him why could she not tell you that she apologizes NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
AND SHE LEGIT CUT UNDER MY TOE NAIL ALL THE WAY ACROSS
SHE FILED MY TOE NAIL LIKE CRAZY TOO

I love this nail salon. Been coming here for 6years. The new owners are great and I have never had a bad experience. Tiffany does great pink and white.
