I drop my car here over night to fix my car alarm and asked to call back the next day, they never called back. I called at 10 in the morning a woman who doesn’t sleep English asked me to call back to call back in 10 mins, I did and they didn’t pick up. I called again around noon and spoke to a guy named Andy, he said he would called me back about the situation of my car but never called. At 4pm I called again, the woman who doesn’t speak English pick up again and asked to call back in 10 mins. I said I need my car for work on Monday asap can’t keep calling back, then they said will call back in another 30 mins. What a nightmare, I would never come to this place again.

CANDE NAVARRO IS AMAZING, AND VERY DEFINITELY THE BEST IN AUTO ELECTRIC! I’ve done work with him for several years, on 3 different cars. He was referred initially by another auto electric guy in Brea as having superior experience with that era of car. This last was a difficult project: a 1990 Oldsmobile Trofeo with only 48,000 miles. (Only 19,000 were ever produced in ’90-’92, so good luck trying to find parts at a junkyard!). The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) was cutting out, mysteriously. Cande had to take the whole dash apart, and finally concluded that the part-​digital IPC as a whole was faulty. But why? And what a daunting task trying to find a workable replacement part 25 years later! I am not a techinical guy, but pretty good with the Internet. Cande told me enough to be able to go online and start looking for a part.
I found an Oldsmobile Trofeo Forum — (
) — and learned this was a common problem back then, with a faulty capacitor that led to damage of the entire IPC. One of the guys on the Forum was DAVID NORTH (a 30-​year Certified Mechanic in Buffalo, NY who was an Olds Trofeo enthusiast), with a niche parts business for 13 years at
. He was able to get me an OEM Yazaki-​factory rebuilt IPC for cheaper than some other companies could have attempted to make a «band-​aid» repair on it. Cande put it in, and it worked like a charm! But then the dashlights wouldn’t come on with the headlights. Dave, in Buffalo, said that was another common problem. He express mailed Cande a couple of «Twilight Sensors» — (about the size of a light bulb). Cande didn’t know in advance there had been inherent problems on this limited-​edition GM car. But he found them on his own and was absolutely right about them! Had we not been able to source these working OEM parts, I don’t know what we would have done. A like-​new older car is a parts junker without a usable Instrument Panel! The Olds Forum had another guy who had spent over $ 1500 at Olds Dealers back in the day trying to identify and solve these problems. Car dealers are NOT experts in auto electronics.
Of the three cars Cande has worked on for us, each time he located and solved the problems, and was very affordable. He works alone, and sometimes has several other cars on the lot to get to before he can get to yours. But the results are worth waiting for and affordable! We’re so pleased with his expertise and skill, and he was a pleasure to work with in a collaborative effort like we just had. But most importantly, my 96-​year-​old mother says her car drives again like new! :-)

I agree, Cande is the best. He’s honest, skilled and always makes time. Be patient, he has a lot of projects. None the less, he does make time for each vehicle and always solves the problem.

tookn my car in for a diagnoses as it was having INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. which is one of the most difficult things to diagnose. Cande could have easily «fixed» several things until getting to the root of the problem and charged me hundreds of dollars in the process. instead he found the problem within a. matter of hours (frayed wires in the ignition switch) and only charged me $ 65. it’s refreshing to find an honest and skilled proffesional like cande!

I had some HID headlights put in my 2006 Chrysler by ANOTHER business, then got the run-​around for a year and a half while they bullshitted me with bootleg temporary fixes until my warranty ran out on the headlights. After that they insisted my problem was electrical and had nothing to do with the piece of shit headlights they sold me (on a completely unrelated note, check out my review of Salinas Tires on Whittier Blvd in La Habra).
As there was no way I was going to trust the electrical guy they wanted to send me to, i did a quick Google search and wound up at C&N. What had been over a year of drama at the other place was solved in less than a weekend by Cande and the guys at C&N. They gave me a free estimate on my problem and did a quick, professional job to get me rolling safely at night again. The service and quality of work at C&N compared to that other place was like night and day. If I have any more problems with anything electrical in my car, or if I can sneak a new car stereo past the wife, I’m definitely going to trust C&N to do the work.
While I was completely satisfied with my experience at C&N, I would suggest you call in to get an idea of how busy they are. C&N is a family business, and as with any business that does quality work, they might already be working on a few cars.
