I recently went on a binge redoing items in my house and I had 2 chairs that I had picked up during an office move years ago. The chairs had a nice frame but the fabric was pretty blah. I found Artisitic through a Unilocal search and Victor was very prompt in returning my request for a quote. Compared to the other quotes I was receiving to redo the chairs Artisitic had a price almost too good to believe. My husband and I found this amazing red fabric and we took it to Victor and he did an AMAZING job and was even able to make us 2 additional pillows. Initially we only did one chair but decided to get more fabric and have the other chair done as well. Very affordable and great work!

I have been going to Victor at Artistic Upholstery for about 3 years now. I can’t rave enough about this company and Victor-​they are so great to work with and always have my best interest at heart. I love good furniture both interior and exterior-​i tend to buy a bit more on the higher end side so keeping my beautiful furniture is important-​Victor is always very precise in telling me if i need new foam, spring, what would work best for the area. Sometimes i buy fabric from Artistic but often i will find antique fabric that will fit perfect for my pieces-​Victors prices are always the same for either (some upholsters will say they need to upcharge for antique fabric etc) I recently redid my outdoor living area which included a coach, love seat, chaise, and 6 table cushions, i chose to mix red and white with a white piping which i was a bit nervous about but Victor assured me it would look perfect in my yard – he was right i love it and get so many compliments. I refer all my friends to Artistic and he has a great following in Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, and Fullerton now!!! I only wish his shop was closer to me but he’s worth the bit of a drive!!!

About a year ago I was the project coordinator for our office’s move to a new suite. One of my tasks was to get our old lobby furniture reupholstered to match the décor in the new office. The furniture was good quality but well worn. Our boss’s wife had recommended Artistic Upholstery so I gave them a call. The did a great job of showing us samples that they though would work well with the new color scheme. When it came time to do the job the turnaround time was inline with what they told us it would be.
In addition to the job itself, they also made us two throw pillows for the couch out of left over chair fabric, and they stitched up a torn leather couch that we had, at no extra cost. The repair job on the couch was excellent and they were able to do it in our office.
Victor and his team are very professional. I would highly recommend them and hope to do more business with them in the near future.

I was referred to this business by one of my friends, talked to Victor on the phone, he explained everything to me in details, brought fabrics to my house, very patient. So far I gave him two orders and he delivered both excellent ! Referred him to so many friends and family and every body is very happy with him.

I visited several shops looking for someone to turn a dated looking fabric ottoman into a cool leather ottoman. Most shops were either well out of my price range for leather or tried to sell me on a «leather-​like» material that looked cheap. The reviews for Artistic Upholstery were so overwhelmingly positive, I emailed Victor. He got right back to me, asked for pictures and sent me a quote super quick.
When I arrived at the shop, Victor and I spoke about what I envisioned and he showed me several leather books. While I looked and we chatted he suggested that I might like a «scrap» that he had in his inventory. The scrap was PERFECT and the price was even less than the other quotes I received for «leather-​like».
Thanks to Victor I got exactly what I was looking for and I absolutely recommend him for anything you are trying to refresh.

Our living room couch had a couple broken springs and the 3 cushions needed to be redone. Victor did a great job. Attention to detail and punctual performance put him to the top of my list if I ever need to get anything upholstered in the future. I can recommend him with confidence.

Victor was quick to respond to phone calls and arrived at the house for pick-​up and delivery when he said he would. The workmanship was excellent and the price was also very reasonable. Would use again!

I was on the verge of giving away my old outdoor chaise lounge and just buy a brand new one. After spending so many hours online looking for a new chaise lounge, I had no luck because they were expensive, I didn’t find a wide selection and there was nothing that appealed to me. So, I looked around online on who can give me a good deal to re-​upholster my cushions. Not only was Artistic Upholstery close to my house, they also had a wide selection of fabrics, very good customer service by Victor and great quality of work on the cushions.
Now, I am enjoying my backyard while relaxing on my chaise lounge with my new re-​upholstered cushion.

My wife grew up with these wooden framed couches that she absolutely loves. Of course, after years of use the cushions started falling through the frame. I took them to Victor to get a much needed upholstery. He helped us choose fabric that both kept the look and gave it a new feeling. With a new base to the wooden frames and all new cushions the couches looks brand new again and don’t sink into the frames. Now we can keep her couches for years to come.

I needed to have the foam replaced in cushions for my couch. Victor had me bring a cushion down to measure and ordered the foam. A week later the foam arrived, and I brought all the cushions to have the foam replaced. The same day the cushions were ready to be picked up. The cushions are so much better to sit on. Victor did a great job, and we were only a few hours without cushions for the couch. Great work Victor, Thank you!

We had a mission style couch and loveseat that had seen better days. I went with Artistic Upholstery after reading their reviews on Unilocal.Victor was so helpful and easy to work with! I was able to email a request for a quote, and received rapid email responses to any questions I had through the process, which was important to me as I can’t take phone calls at work. The stated cost remained the same, no surprise additional costs. He helped my daughter and I narrow down the fabric choices, pick coordinating fabrics for pillows, and the finished product is just beautiful, we love it! I would definitely work with Artistic Upholstery again, and strongly recommend them.

Just got my office chair back and I am so happy! The upholstry fabric and the quality workmanship are very impressive. I will be using Victor again for some other furniture.

Bought a couch from the 1940’s great condition but the cushions were flat & dirty. Had victor re-​foam and make new covers. Looks like new! Great work! Timely manner! Professional! Happy!

Again had some work done by Artistic Upholstery. We had a sofa, love seat and wing chair reupholstered. Victor promised me that I would have them by Thanksgiving and was true to his word! I was very grateful for that. We had a little glitch with pillows, fabric was different but we worked it out satisfactorly and I am very happy. Again,

I have never wanted to hug a sofa!
After months of researching re-​upholstery and about a month of searching for someone I trusted, I chose to work with Victor at Artistic Upholstery. I had emailed detailed photos of my sofa to a few places who either didn’t bother to reply, took weeks to reply and were not very helpful, or quoted outrages rates. NOT Victor! Victor replied in a timely manner the first time and continued that throughout the process. He welcomed me to the shop where the work would be done and was happy to show me around.

I needed to have the springs in my sofa repaired. It was my great-aunt’s, purchased over 60 years ago, well cared for and well worth saving. The only reason for having any work done was to have the springs re-​tied that had come loose after years of wear. I later decided to just have the sofa re-​upholstered since re-​tying the springs would be equally labor intensive and would not cost much more. Victor and his technicians took care of the 8-​way hand-​tied springs on the bottom and tightened the springs in the back as well. Since the springs in each cushion were still in great shape, there was no need to replace them which would have cost more.
I didn’t realize that choosing a fabric would be so difficult. Victor was patient, taught me lots about upholstery fabric based on my lifestyle and the style of the sofa as was able to recommend the perfect fabric that fit within my budget and exceeded my visions.
Victor had set a goal of having my sofa back to me for the holidays. Even after I’d told him to take his time. I honestly did not expect to have it back until January, which was completely fine after I’d held up the original timeframe with the fabric selection. He delivered it the week of Christmas.
I was elated, speechless and just completely blown away by the craftsmanship and attention to detail. (see photos posted) The soft champagne velvet made me want to HUG my sofa! I’m sure that I’ll have her for another 50 – 60 years.

I am a big fan of vintage furniture. When my friend asked me if I wanted a couch that belonged to her grandmother, I jumped at the chance to own it. Unfortunately, it had a lot of wear and tear. The couch was originally light pink, but throughout the years, the vibrant color went away and started looking gray and dull. The cushions were worn out, and the bottom of the couch was falling apart. I was devastated. Luckily, I found Artistic Upholstery. I love that we decided to get our couch fixed at this location. It was affordable, and they were very professional. We showed them pictures of the couch, and they reassured us that they could fix it. We were shown a variety of fabric swatches, and they were able to start right away. They picked up our couch right away and delivered our couch once the work was done. The final product was amazing! It looks brand new, and I fell in love with how it looks! I highly recommend you take your furniture to Victor to get fixed. You won’t be disappointed. Richard And Angie Approved!

Because of timing issues (and delay in fabric arrival), I was considering stripping and painting the chairs I wanted upholstered myself, then bringing the chairs in to be redone. I had previously received a quote for a full upholstery job, and wanted to see if the price would be lower if I brought in chairs that were already stripped.
It would have completely fine if the man who answered the phone just told me that the price was the same – I would not have minded paying – but he completely lost his temper at me, told me that I was trying to cut corners, and told me to take my business somewhere else. I want to emphasize that this was his response to just my first question – I did not ask for a lower price, and was not trying to haggle at all.
When I pointed out that I was just trying to get a question answered, and that he was being quite unresponsive and rude, he not only did not apologize, but told me that if I didn’t like what he said then I should take my business somewhere else.
When I asked him for his name, he refused to give it to me.
I’m quite saddened by this treatment. I really was not trying to be rude but asking for a clarification of the pricing process. This was my first time getting chairs redone and so I am completely unfamiliar with how pricing works.
I think the owner, Victor, who I had been corresponding with, is quite nice. But it seems a poor way to do business to hire an employee that is so rude.

Awesome customer service! A huge plus for me is that they are really easy to get ahold of. I’m a student and my hours are very variable so all communication was thru email (very tech savvy) and response time is quick! I found this to be super convenient. I wanted my love seat and chaise cushions tufted. Victor was really patient and able to figure out exactly what I wanted through photos. The work is very nice and professional. Can’t be happier.

We got a free chair when we picked up furniture on craigslist. It was an older chair but it was still in decent shape so we decided to bring it home with us. We did not know any reupholstery places so we looked on Unilocal and found Victor and Ambrose of Artistic Upholstery.
We took our chair to them and I have to say it looks sooo much better than before it is more updated and modern. Turn around time was about 2 months but that was partly due to us not choosing a fabric. Once they had the fabric in hand it was about a two week turn around time. We would definitely reccommend them to anyone that has any reupholstery needs.
