A tutoring service committed to providing structured and spirited learning (both private and small group) in standardized test prep (SCAT, ISEE, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, ACT, and Advanced Placement Exams) and academic tutoring of core subjects up to Advanced Placement. Subjects offered include Pre-​Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-​Calculus, Calculus, English, Critical Reading, Writing, Grammar, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and Statistics.

History

Established in 1985.

Founded in 1985 by a dad concerned by his son’s struggle with Math and English in school and on standardized tests, Keystone Academy has always embodied standing with parents and students to help inspire a desire for excellence, instill confidence through effective approaches to learning, and impart the academic skills necessary to achieve success. We have been faithfully serving the La Crescenta /​La Canada /​Glendale /​Pasadena area for the last 20 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Eugene S.

Business Owner

Eugene has been teaching students in both private and group settings for over 20 years. His students have successfully completed the ISEE, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, and ACT, as well as Advanced Placement Exams in Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, and Statistics. He holds an M. Div from the Master’s Seminary and two degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, one in Materials Science and Engineering and the other in Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis on Biochemistry. His favorite pastime is to study and translate the Bible from the original Greek.
