Dr Thompson and his staff are Fantastic! The best dentist office I have ever been to! I look forward to my dentist appointments now. I recently took my 2yo for her first appt and he was so patient with her. The whole staff is so sweet and they have the best hours! Can get a teeth cleaning before work and don’t have to take time off!

Dr. Thompson and his staff are the best and come highly recommended! Years ago, I explained to my manager about my newfound fear of dentists after a bad experience. In conversation with his dentist, who is in the Granada Hills area, he mentioned my situation. His dentist in turn recommended that my manager advise me to see HIS dentist in La Canada. Yep, «the dentist of dentists.» I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Thompson and the hygienist, Stacey. Dr. Thompson thoroughly explains everything he is doing when you’re undergoing a procedure. My husband recently had a root canal and had zero pain. If you are in search for a great dentist (& you have a morbid fear of them), then please see Dr. Paul Thompson!

This guy is really good at what he does, very gentle. Our family has been going to Dr. Thompson for the last 20 years and it’s never an issue for us to go to the dentist, believe it or not. Stacey Ralphs, the hygienist, is also very gentle and great at what she does.

I’m a bit biased as I used to work at this lovely office with this amazing staff :) Now they have a website! That’s awesome! It’s been a few years but I remember my time there fondly. All I can say is that in my history of working for Dentists, that Dr. T was always great to watch with patients.
He is honest, hardworking (even bringing the kids in with softball accidents while coaching his girls, after hours and even on weekends) and he’ll do his best to accommodate you as a patient. He even draws pictures on the trays to help give you a visual (well, it would help me if I needed it). He does beautiful work, and takes time and puts forth meticulous efforts to make sure anything he does is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
Comfort wise, he’s the man. I’ve seen many a patient fall asleep during root canals, and many kids zone-​out to Spongebob while I was assisting him with difficult fillings. Most of the time we’d laugh at the cartoons that were supposed to be for patients but we’ll just keep that between us.
Anyway, stellar service, beautiful office, nice view, and wonderful patients. I look forward to going back as soon as my new insurance kicks in because as a Hygienist myself, I shouldn’t be having cavities but I’m sure there’s something going on in there :(He’s so good, I refuse to go to my current employer because I’ve seen the quality of his work and I know his talent!
Anyway, I’ll be back soon!!! Until then, please visit their office, I also don’t have enough to say about Stacey (Hygiene) and Anita and Michelle, they’re a riot and very pleasant — they know what they’re doing ;)

Dr. Thompson is a great dentist. He makes root canals much less intimidating that you would think. Ask him for a mirror. He is more than happy to walk you through what he is doing step-​by-​step.
His staff is great too. You need to go there for your next dental appointment.
He also gives a 10% discount if you pay in full. Well, he did me. Maybe I shouldn’t say that…
