I absolutely love this place! The owner is so helpful and the cakes are delicious! I have gotten a couple of baby shower cakes here and they were a hit!!! I will definitely keep coming back!!!

Just picked up my daughters smash cake for her 1^st birthday pics… everything I asked for and more! So cute!!! Great to work with and great prices.

We got our wedding and groom’s cakes at The Sweet Stuff. We went into our consultation with Michelle not knowing quite what we wanted for our wedding and groom’s cakes. She let us browse through pictures alone, picking out ones that caught our eye as we did our cake tasting – it was not high pressure, we felt very comfortable. Once she started talking to us, she picked up on parts of our personality and helped inspire the cakes we decided on, she was very involved and creative.
Michelle’s cakes are as beautiful on the outside as they are delicious on the inside. I cannot wait until my anniversary to dig into my wedding cake again. The groom’s cake was a TARDIS, which was constructed amazingly and perfect down to every last detail.

Looooved the wedding cakes she made for us. So beautiful, I didn’t want to cut either of them. The groom absolutely loved his cake. Tasted wonderful and fresh. Will definitely go back just to get one for ourselves :)

This is the best bakery in Kyle! Michelle has a real talent for design and the cake was delicious! My daughter’s absolutely adored their Wizard of Oz Birthday cake. It was a HUGE hit! This cake was the perfect touch for their party. Michelle is wonderful to work with, very reasonable prices. Please give The Sweet Stuff a try… You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Michelle… you ROCK!!! I am writing this review in 2013 and have had several cakes made by Michelle since locating her in 2008. My husband and I got married in Driftwood the same weekend Austin had the bridal show and TONS of vendors in Austin were unavailable. I wasn’t familiar with the Buda/​Kyle area but found The Sweet Stuff and am thrilled I did! Everything tasted amazing and I appreciate that the strawberry filling is made from real berries instead of some canned stuff. Whenever I call to make an order I get great service so I feel good about giving 5 stars.

So I was in the mood to try something new and I went ahead an ordered a cookie cake from The Sweet Stuff in Kyle. When I got there Michelle told me she liked to make her cookie cakes thick and soft… I thought… Hmmm. That sounds good. Let me tell you as soon as I took a bite out of her cookie cake I thought that Keebler elf has NOTHING on this! It was the more amazing cookie I’ve ever eaten. It was moist and about an inch thick, the design she made on it was an ACE, looked professional and tasted to die for.
You haven’t had a good cookie cake until you eat on from The Sweet Stuff! A+

Michelle has been making my cakes and big cookies since she opened her first shop on Burleson St. Her cakes are delicious and her decorating skills are bar none. No matter how difficult my concept, she has NEVER let me down. She’s made my folks gorgeous 50^th Anniversary cake and many many birthday cakes. Can’t wait to see my daughter’s K class cake this month. Life is way too short to eat nuthing but the tastiest, the most highly skilled and very afforadably priced cake.

If I could give 4 ½ or 4 ¾, I would. And that’s only bc I hesitate to give anything a 5.
I love, love, LOVE this bakery and the owner/​master cake baker is fantastic. I’ve ordered a total of 5 times from Sweet Stuff and have never been disappointed. One order, in fact, was placed over the phone and she gave me exactly what I had pictured. The cakes are moist, the icing is sweet — not lard and sugar sweet, just sweet — the designs are adorable and the price cannot be beat. And she’s right down the road for all you Kyle folks. I am already looking forward to another event so I can place an order with Sweet Stuff. Yes, it’s that good!
