Lately there have been some annoyances here and there. First, some of the equipment is starting to show wear and tear. Notably, one of the cables is broken. Still works but shakes a lot. There are only 6 treadmills and three are currently broken. Two have been broken for quite some time. Lastly, there is a personal trainer that is training somewhere between 3 and 12 people at peak hours. This is a small gym so having this going on monopolizes a large amount of the equipment at one time. And having a bunch of people doing laps around this small area can get annoying quickly. Still, the majority of the time this place is sparsely attended and as a 24 hour gym goes, it’s still well above average. Update: now the large personal training sessions have taken to going outside for their training. Awesome– the gym isn’t big enough for the class anyway. But taking all the Dumbbells outside with them? Wow– annoying and not cool. I really do have to say, if you’re going to workout after work, avoid this gym.

Terrible gym. Initially I justified it relatively with price but after a while I decided it was no bargain if it didn’t have the tools needed to effectively workout. Essentially a good dumb bell rack, that’s it. I’ve seen better garage gyms! after deciding this was not going to meet my workout needs. I decided to cancel my membership, contract states 30 day notice. OK, I draft up an email stating my intent third week of Dec 2014. I receive an email stating that my card will be billed all the way thru to my February payment cycle(making my membership active through to March 16th. Mind you this is for a membership I stopped using in mid December of 2014??? Whatttt the ??? As not to create waves I keep my mouth shut but am livid inside, if I give notice Dec 28th wouldn’t that make my memberships last payment for January bill cycle as it bills every 30 days. in other words I essentially gave 45 days notice. She bills me for all January and then for February bill cycle as well. Making me an active member till MARCH16th!!! WHYYYY? In the middle of all this my card gets hacked and cancelled by my bank. So the final direct draft payment gets denied by my bank(im unaware of all this). I receive an email by Kim at Plumfit letting me know the situation. No problem I tell her, I will get a check out to you immediately and give back the FOB at the same time. She responds, that will be fine and add $ 10.00 as a late charge. WHAT??? Are you kidding me??? Nickel and dime me like I was the only customer keeping the doors open. BTW, there was no contract, it was a month to month –cancel anytime membership. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place like the plague, there are MUCH better choices in the area. as I recommend. They treat people like garbage and I might add I was never late or a problem and paid them on time for well over a year that I was a member. I am taking my complaint to the BBB as Im tired of small business’ like this taking advantage of people. Good luck and as I said BEWARE of this«GYM trap», go to a reputable establishment and you’ll get what you paid for and more importantly be treated with respect.

Too many kids running around after 6:30 pm during the evening class climbing on machines and screaming.

Small but everything you need: cardio, free weights, weight machines. 24 access via card key. Never crowded when I went in there in the mornings before 9:00 a.m. Bathrooms have showers. It’s just one room, no exercise classes, the staff is only there during the day. If you’re just looking for a place to do your regular workout, this is good.
