INsite is a free monthly publication for Austinites that provides a snapshot of the world of entertainment as it pertains to Austin, Texas. It’s available at online and at over 300 places within the city limits.

History

Established in 1988.

In the past we have brought you interviews with local efforts ArtBulb, Blue Corn Project, Birds Barbershop, The TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls, Rock y Roll Dia, as well as previews of musical events like Texas Rockfest, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Carnaval Brasileiro, Ozzfest, Austin sports teams and University of Texas Athletics.

We’ve got interviews with local, national, and international movie stars such as Drew Barrymore, Paul Rudd, Matthew Fox, Beyonce, Will Smith, Will Ferrell, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Michelle Yeoh, and Matthew McConaughey.

Each issue provides the hottest stuff Austin has to offer each month, from live music listings and features, Local Trax (CD reviews), local restaurant/​bar listings and reviews, local fashion stories, to the INsite Hindsite photo feature.
