Good eats. Friendly service. Love that since I’m a regular, they know my family and our orders.

Had outstanding customer service here, on my last visit. I ordered a nine piece fried catfish meal, with some sides & extra rolls. The cashier was very helpful in explaining the side options, and how to get the most bang for my buck. I watched the crew work quickly, and efficiently, to fulfill every order, inside, and in drive-​thru, with accuracy, and fresh products.
So what, that you have to wait a little extra longer than the speed demons at the national burger chain, who package up your order that was made 10min before you even pulled up! Do you really wanna spend your hard earned money, on chicken that was sitting around for 20min under a heat lamp, or do you want a fresh, quality product?
The food was hot, and fresh when I received it, and was still too hot to eat some of it, 7 min later, when I got it home!
I don’t see any issues here, and will repeat my business with them, when the mood hits!

Giving 3 stars. Food generally good, but slow service for food already cooked!
I’ve had the tenders 100 times (approximately) at this location, but a few days ago (1÷1÷15) I got a 16 piece tender, I got it home and most of them were pink on the inside (undercooked). They explained to me how this was «normal» and they’d be pink even if overlooked, but as I stated before I’ve had many times and they were always cooked white through and through. After accusing us of eating half of them (only ate ½ of one, broke the rest to check doneness) the manager came by and refunded our money as requested with no problems.
In general this location is very slow.
Kudos for making it right.

I don’t often post reviews, but I saw the rating for here and I am a bit surprised. I have never had a problem with the service or the food here. They are always friendly and the food has always been good.
I love the fried chicken, the kids love the tenders.
The food may not come out as fast as it does at McDonalds, but it always comes out fresh. If I waited and got old food I would be upset but I don’t mind waiting for fresh.

Service times are much better than before so updated to 4 stars. Yummy fast food, especially the rolls and catfish.

This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. I thought it was just a fluke the first time but on my second visit I was met with the same disdain and apathy as before. I love the food but my money will never cross the counter of this location again.

The customer service is nonexistent. I went the rough the drive through and was asked «what do you want?» this was followed up with «is that all?» All this was in a voice that made me feel as if I was putting this young man to great trouble. Never again.

After writing a note to corporate and speaking to the owner of this Golden Chick about his slow service, he told me he could find no issue. I suggest that he employ some secret shoppers to give him a unbiased view of the customer experience.
After forgoing this place for almost a year, I decided to give it another shot. I figured that perhaps maybe things had changed. I was definitely wrong. I was the only car in the drive through lane. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. I figured, «how hard could this be?» The young kid at the drive through took my order and was very professional. I did not see any horse playing. After he handed my my credit card, I waited and waited and waited. How long does it take for you to put a chicken salad sandwich in a bag and hand it to me, especially if I am the ONLY car in the drive though?
I finally get my order. The fries are hot and fresh. That is a plus. The sandwich was flavorful. My only complaint was the little bits of chicken tendons. I am glad to see they gave me a TON of ice. What part of «easy ice» do you not understand? If I wanted ice, I would have ordered ice. I do not need to finish my soda in 3 sips of my straw.
The food is good. The drive through service needs dire improvement. Thanks but I will not be back.

Golden Chick has some really, really good food.
Whenever I need my Fried Okra fix, we head there. All of the sides we’ve had are good. Kids love the chicken strips… the whole family can eat for under $ 20. Score.
My only drawback to this location is the television. I’m not an overprotective dad, really. But, I have decided that I can’t eat in the dining room any longer though. Just for the simple reason that they have the News on the TV every time I’ve been there… and eating with my children while the news is blaring (sometimes REALLY loud) about death and destruction is not my idea of a good time.
We have asked them to turn it off and/​or down on a number of occasions, and they always do. but I get tired of having to ask. I’ve never walked in there when the news WASN’T on…
I’d rather take the food with me and not have to deal with the television.
Pro: Really good food. and I’ve met the owners and they are good folks.
Con: News blaring on the TV.always.
