FastMed Urgent Care

I had a wonderful experience with this new company! Had the chance to see a new P.A. Lori and she was absolutely fabulous! I suffer d for 9 days and she got me all fixed up to feeling better by the very next day! I will continue to use them when necessary! Thank you Lori you are super sweet and very thorough!

Don’t waste your time here. It takes forever and they say you have to have your insurance card in hand to use your insurance. I’ve never ever heard of that before. We’ve tried to go here twice now and both times they where less than helpful. Goto the new Kyle ER across the highway. They are great!

Horrible experience! My family has used Texan Urgent Care for almost 2 years and have had wonderful service. HOWEVER, it seems that since as of lately, their service has gone downhill. I was unable to get into my primary care doctor on Friday since it was late, so I decided to go to Fast Med in Kyle, TX. I initially received a shot, antibiotic, and something for cough. I called back on Monday because I still wasn’t feeling well and was still not sleeping well. The PA called in a cough medicine with pseudoephedrine (EVEN THOUGH I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE which it
noted in my chart).
I called back to double check to make sure it was ok and I was told that it would be fine since my blood pressure was under control and there was such a small amount in the medicine. WRONG! My blood pressure immediately went back up and I my heard began racing. When I called back to ask for a different medicine, I was told to «come back in.» Living in Austin, allergies are a fact of life. I know when I have a sinus infection and when it is something more serious.
I told her that another $ 50 co-​pay was out of the question — and asked again if I could try something else. I immediately let her know that I would just see my primary care doctor and that I would take my business elsewhere. Her response was «sorry you feel that way.»
This place is completely ridiculous and OBVIOUSLY does not value their patients.

The Staff of the FastMed Clinic in Kyle were very professional courteous fast and efficient would recommend this clinic to anyone
