We sell new and used books games and puzzles, as well as cards, bookmarks, and other gifts. We also sell 100s of titles of calendars each year, always discounted immediately. We will carry books on any subject available, and can also help track down and order books. We have particularly strong showings in Children’s books, Fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy, History and Cooking. We also take in books from the public in our trading program.

History

Established in 2012.

Started by two experienced and enthusiastic book aficionados in downtown Kutztown, Firefly Bookstore strives to offer a quality book shopping experience for readers of all ages. Opened in August of 2012, the owners of this store have been developing the plan that would eventually be born as Firefly Bookstore for many years, while they honed their skills managing a variety of other retail bookstores. Helping other companies as they navigate through the many changes in the book industry over the last 10 years has demonstrated to the partners that the successful book store should have strong ties to the community, a diverse and evolving selection of products, and a bright well-​organized space to shop and browse. Firefly Bookstore strives to be all this and more as they launch their new retail store.
