Sharon helped me remodel a vacation rental, and I loved working with her! She was very quick to understand my tastes, goals and budget, and was willing to work within my constraints. She not only made suggestions, but taught me how to look at various elements; this was extremely empowering and fun. When I was feeling overwhelmed, she provided humor and calm, supportive direction. She shopped with me in places like Lowes and Home Depot where we could see lots of options and she could walk me through pros and cons of different choices. Priceless help! Now, whenever a new guest comes to my rental, I enjoy the first five minutes after they come in the door and see the place, and then turn to me with a «Wow, this is amazing!» This has happened 100% of the time so far! THANKYOU, SHARON!

Sharon was introduced to me by an attorney about two years prior to our home remodel and when we did the remodel to our new house I was excited to work with her. The whole process started out with some real personal q&a. What do we like to do, tell me about your life, what is important to you, etc. She helped us with the look of an entire floor of the house which included a bathroom, a laundry room, a guest bedroom and my office(complete with wine cellar). The room I want to mention is my office, because her ideas were amazing, even though we ended up not using the best ones. Through the interview process, she discovered that I studied comparative religion and philosophy in undergrad and then Tibetan phenomenology in grad school. She learned that meditation and the«interconnectedness» of all things was important to me. She learned also that books and wine were important to me. Further, she knew that I would often be working from my home computer and knew that I was particular about my desk setup. Taking all this into account, she designed what I refer to as my «manhole.» I recently read a book, Manspace — A Primal Guide to Marking Your Territory, by Sam Martin and I was trying to design my place in the house. She got it! Her idea was to bring in the 4 elements — water, air, earth and fire. For water — there was going to be a fountain built into the library shelving that was to cover an entire wall of the room. For air — we were simply going to create a feeling of openness and free space. For earth — and this is beautiful — she thought we should bring in a large stone and that stone, placed in the corner covering a roughly 4 foot X 6 foot area, would provide a dedicated space for my meditation practice. Finally, for fire, we would bring in a painting that showed a forest burning and have candles on the alter of the meditation space. She also designed magnificent thick reclaimed wood library shelves and we built in a cellar for wine and scotch/bourbon, etc. In the end, for other reasons, we decided to slim down these great ideas, demarcate the meditation space a little differently and build the shelves a little differently — but she really understood what I wanted in a way that I did not expect and her ability to turn your life into a design that would fit your goals and dreams is simply visionary.
