Everyone is so nice and helpful here. I accidentally misunderstood a price and the cashiers stayed more than 10 minutes after close to help me do the return. They also took extra effort to help me find a price on an awesome shirt that had lost the tag! Great service and awesome products!

Short and sweet(which they were not), they listed an item at 50% off. The price at the register was not. When we inquired she said it was 50% off plus a $ 2.45 surcharge for shipping from the states. She said that’s the owners policy. I said then put it on your sale sign. She said she would change the sign. She was so rude that we left. She took the sign down. We walked by after dinner and she had put the same sign back up. Scamming tourist helps this company make money. Do not shop here.

Call me weird, but I collect post cards from all around the world. So my husband and I popped in here while visiting Kauai and I saw they had some postcards. When we walked in it was rather empty. We saw an older white lady at the register ringing someone up but that was pretty much it. She saw us, but didn’t bother to say hi or greet us in anyway. Whatever, she’s with another customer. I looked around the postcard area and picked my favorite one as my sweetie shopped. When I was ready, I headed to the register where the lady no longer was there so I waited. And waited. And waited some more. I saw the lady a few feet from me shuffling through some crap. She even looked RIGHT at us and didn’t acknowledge us or anything. She kept pretending to be busy. I started to get irritated. I mean look woman, what’s more important? Shuffling crap around or helping your customers? You can fix your crap later just 2 seconds after we leave. Being the awesome hubby that he is, my love asked me, «Want me to get her??» I said yes and he approached the lady and directly asked her, «Hi, can we get some help? We’re ready to pay.» She straight up ignored him! I was baffled! So what did I do? I asked my husband, «What’s this store called? I’m gonna Unilocal it.» and magically she pokes her beady little blonde head out and shouts to some other worker(who I didn’t even see!!) and yells to her, «Hey so and so, can you help these people here? I’m dealing with this melt down.» Ahhh, so magically when I mention Unilocal to my husband you happen to hear that but when my husband straight up GOESUPTOYOU you don’t HEARHIM? Ahhh, the sweet fear of a bad review. Haha! Tsk tsk tsk! Such bad customer service. Such a shame. You’d think a little shop like this would have excellent customer service being that it’s so small and doesn’t have very many customers. The owners really need to sit down with their staff and tell them to brush up on their customer service skills. Without helping out a customer, you can’t sell merchandise. So you can shuffle items all you want, but it won’t sell without people buying them. You can easy restock shelves AFTER your customer leaves or when the store is closed.
i really like progressive expressions! staff is always friendly and willing to lend a hand if you can’t find an item. they have great brands in stock. pretty much any surf/skate brand you’re looking for.

Nice little surf shop in the middle of Old Koloa town. They carry everything from Roxy to Tommy Bahama. We dropped by on our first night on the island after getting some Lappert’s. I was blown away that they have slippers that were over $ 100. I asked the saleslady about what made them special. She said that they were special because they have built in arch support(by a former Nike footwear designer), for a flat footer like me this was music to my ears. I was a little hesitant to buy them at first but I came back on my last day and bought a pair to take home.
