Kauai’s Juice Box

Holy moley, this was the bomb! It was as fun chatting with Malia as she whipped up my Koloa Bowl as it was delicious to eat. Such perfection in a paper cup. Frozen acai, banana and mango pureed, with homemade granola, fresh fruit and chocolate chips on top with a drizzle of honey. If you’re maxed out on plate lunch, go see Malia and Justin!

Upon landing we headed to the south side for food. Our first choice was already closed and this place was in the same area right next to Kauai Food Truck so we walked over and tried it.
There are tables and chairs laid out on the lawn next to the trucks. I never enjoyed food trucks because of having to take food to go or eat curbside but this wasn’t a problem here. Found a table in the shade and it was better than eating indoors.
This was the most fresh acai bowl I’ve ever had. I got the «Berry Patch». The difference between that one and «Mema and I» is that there’s peanut butter and bananas in the base for «Mema and I» while «Berry Patch» base is more berry based.
It wasn’t that sweet unlike acai bowls on the mainland with added sweeteners in the base. It was a pleasant surprise to have the «Berry Patch» topped with all the toppings as the «Mema and I» because the menu board made it seem as though the «Berry Patch» would only be topped with strawberries.
The homemade granola with macadamia nuts was my favorite. I’ve never had homemade granola in my life until that moment. You can taste the difference between homemade and store bought. Store bought granola pieces are all shaped the same size and coated evenly but homemade granola is shaped all sorts of ways with different thicknesses of coating on each piece.
The «Winner» smoothie was refreshing and light. No added sweeteners in that either.
It was a memorable choice for a first meal after landing.

There. I said it. Boom. *mic drop* but in all seriousness, Kauai’s Juicebox was soooo good. I didn’t get a chance to explore too many other acai places but this was so good that I just kept coming next back! The girl who runs this place is SO nice! And she makes THE BEST granola. I swear, she must put a little something extra in there to keep her customers happy and coming back: P just kidding haha but it is seriously the best granola I’ve had. I have dreams about this granola. It’s crunchy, not overly sweet, and the perfect compliment to her acai bowls. My family and I tried both versions, Mema & I and Berry Patch. I usually like the plain fruit kind, like Berry Patch, more but Mema & I stole my heart! It’s like having a PB&J smoothie :) soooo good. It’s creamy and delicious! A great take on traditional acai bowls! This location is great too because it’s right by Old Koloa Town! Perfect for a little shopping and then a snack :)
If you’re ever on Kauai, whether you live there or are just visiting, make sure you stop by the Juicebox! You won’t regret it!

Acai bowl was delicious. Owner was super friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area. Highly recommended if you want something refreshing and healthy. Outdoor picnic table seating.

Ordered the special of the day which was a smoothie made with Acai, strawberry, passion fruit, and guava. It tasted perfect! The grounds are cute with picnic tables and a sand box area for the kids.

Food truck is located in the parking lot around the corner of old Koloa town. The Acai bowls are fresh and granola is made locally. They had a special mango and pineapple juice which was refreshing on a very hot day. Service is friendly too. Overall, great spot for some fresh fruit items!

Delicious and can not eat fast enough. The owner was really nice. My Zoey had fun playing ball with her son. It is kind of like a smoothie you eat like icecream, but there is a ton of fruit like a parfait. It is really good.

Their acai bowls are topped with the BEST homemade granola I’ve ever had. I mean it’s phenomenal. Also, the owner and her son were so friendly — I loved meeting them!

The Acai bowl is to die for. Homemade granola is delicious and sitting and relaxing while eating is so peaceful. Malia is so sweet and helpful with things to do. She also got us with Justin for a guided fishing and snorkel tour. We have been to her truck twice and will be back.

Breakfast at the Kawai juice box is a most pleasant experience. Melea is pure sunshine– like meeting an old friend. The fruit bowl amazing! You’ve got to try it. It is like a smoothie in a bowl with granola, fruit, and chocolate chips on top. Heavenly!

This was the best acai bowl I’ve ever had! My bf had a juice and said it was to die for. You have to stop by here! Incredibly fresh ingredients and the girl who worked there was sooo sweet!

I tried several places that serve açai bowls and the açai bowls here are the best ones hands down. It is made from fresh and very tasty ingredients. Malia also is very welcoming and friendly which made me want to come back even more! Come and try out everything possible here at Kauai’s Juice Box!!!

A diamond in the rough! A must stop by for breakfast if your into eating healthy, fabulous for lunch as well. Fresh island fruit juices, smoothies and best of all Acia bowls. Been a few places on island but Omgoosh this is it!!! Fresh Fruit Awesomeness in the heart of Koloa Town.
