Come to Old Koloa Town for sabrosa (tasty), authentic take out Mexican Food.

We’re just a stroll away from the shops of historic Old Koloa Town and about 2 miles inland from the tropical and beautiful beaches of Po’ipu.

My name is Miguel and I am from Veracuz, Mexico where we have a passion for fresh meats and vegetables, flavorful spices, and hot peppers! I grew up working on my family’s ranch and learned how to cook and prepare foods from my mom and abuela (grandmother).

Take-​out (808) 634‑4016 (call in or walk up) or relax in our small outdoor patio setting with limited seating (for now).

An island style casual family friendly atmosphere that is fast, fresh, tasty, and also easy on the budget (prices range from $ 7 – 10 per entrée).

We also provide catering for your special event –small or large.

My goal is to satisfy your hunger while making your taste buds dance with healthy Mexican foods that you’ll savor our food and want come back for more

I was so looking forward to eating here but Was really disappointed. Ordered the fish chulupas to go and it was not good. Totally soggy. Feel like they put way too much beans all over everything thing which created a huge mess that was just not yummy — threw it away.

This place is dank! Food soooo good yah! Fresh fish tacos is a good move. I knew this spot was da bomb driving by, we had to stop. It was about the fish. Cabbage and what not on it But the fish is where it’s at. Fresh. Not fresh like the prince from Bell Air, but fresh like it was swimming this morning.
Two of us ate there, both of us were pleased with our choice.

Delicious Mexican food from a crew that knows how to make it right! Authentic flavors that makes it my place to go. I like the pulled pork platter, shrimp quesadillas or my favorite veggie burrito. They make their own salsa. Awesome! I recommend it.

I went on a Saturday at 7 pm! Unilocal says it closes at 4 pm, but it was still open when I went later.
It’s not a dirt cheap taco truck, but it’s such a great deal considering the other food options in the area. There is seating right outside and the atmosphere feels pretty local. My sister and I both ordered the fish tacos, which were yummyyyy — even without hot sauce! It was the perfect amount of food and a nice change from resort food. I wish I had discovered this place earlier on my trip!

Best and freshest fish tacos on the island. I tried many and these were the hands down winner. Burritos were awesome as well. Not necessarily a local favorite is my understanding. Rice and beans were only so so. I will miss the tacos when I leave!

When I bit into a fish taco from Chalupa’s, my eyes lit up and all I could do was keep eating while making MMMMMMMMM sounds as I drifted away into fish taco bliss. Flavor party!
It was that good. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve eaten here at least once a day during our 5 day trip. Even if I wasn’t hungry. It was really that good.
The service was excellent, too. The guy who served up was super upbeat and seemed like he loved life.

A two because I felt it was unsanitary. The food was decent. The quesadilla was tasty overall, the chalupas (fish) were just okay but the fish was not fishy which is great but it lacked flavor. The carnitas burrito was ok too, I have had much better. The salsa was gross and the chips were underdone and very few were given which was fine since it wasnt tasty. The main issue is the gross wild chickens all over the tables that had not been cleaned ever. Just felt very unsanitary and I am not a germaphobe or anything. Best to take this good to go if you even bother but I would rather eat somewhere else.

After many happy visits here the past few years, I have to sadly downgrade my rating to 1 star because both my wife and I suffered food poisoning an hour after eating here. Spent the afternoon in a lot of pain. Deal-​breaker.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST FISH.TACOS.EVER. Is it possible to give more stars? I could give them an entire universe of stars. If you go to Kauai for only one reason, their fish tacos would be the reason. Undoubtedly I am a better person because I ate there. The best lunch I’ve ever had will live on in my mind and taste buds.

Of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had.
At first I was a little concerned about Mexican food out of a truck in Kauai (I’m from San Diego – so I know good fish tacos!), but those feelings were quickly resolved after one bite of those delicious fish tacos.
An amazing value! You would pay twice as much at a resort restaurant and they wouldn’t be better (they may be as good… but they wont be better).

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this little neon green food truck. I’m still trying to wrap my head around eating Mexican food in Hawaii. This was outstanding!!!
My pregnancy cravings have been for Mexican food with a bit of that spicy kick. I opted for the shrimp quesadilla. Insanely good. Huge succulent bites of shrimp, tons of rich flavors. My incredibly picky husband who normally hates Mexican food scoffed down ½ of mine.
This is a great place to hit while on Kauai.

This place was a good find. We were craving Mexican and the food gods heard our stomachs. Super cheap and super fast. Although any Mexican food will taste good after being in Alaska where it’s hard to find authentic Mexican. I’m vegetarian and got the vegetarian burrito. So good, highly recommend. Cheap, fast, and good is always a plus. The chalupas are also really good. Unilocal helped me find this place so I will return to the Unilocal community what I have recieved.

This a food truck
We ordered the fish taco plate without beans or rice on the side. 2 tacos come on the plate with about 10 chips. The fish is grilled and served in a medium flour tortilla with cabbage, Mexican cream for $ 10.50. Too expensive. It was tasty.
If you ever get to Fresno, the fish tacos at Don Pepes are about $ 2.50 each and blow these out of the water.
