Established in 2012.

Solstice Art Gallery opened The Palette Room in 2012 for painting parties and events. In November of 2013 a tornado destroyed our former location. We re-​opened at our current location and have been Partying Artsy ever since!

Meet the Business Owner

Marci M.

Business Owner

Marci is a practicing artist and was a Fine Arts major at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She has taught art camp in conjunction with the Kokomo Art Association and worked as a potters’ apprentice at Conner Prairie. She has completed numerous interior design/​commissioned art projects for businesses and homes throughout Indiana. She is a member of the KAA and has served on the board of the KAA and Arts Alliance of Kokomo. As part of her service, she helped facilitate Kokomo’s public art displays of the Haynes International Statue and Bronzed Indian Maiden Statue located uptown Kokomo.

Marci opened The Palette Room at Solstice Art Gallery, LLC in 2012 as a way to expose the community to the arts. She has a passion for teaching art while making art fun for everyone. She hopes the party atmosphere and experience will strike an interest in the arts for all that attend. She believes that art should to be practiced, experienced and celebrated.
