This is, first and foremost, a bar and I don’t know that the people complaining about the food are realizing that. This is a good bar and a great place to watch the game (any game). There are tons of screens and the bartenders are willing to put on what you’d like! The food is okay (the fries are GREAT), but nothing to go out of your way for. But stick to the basics (fries, nachos, bar foods) and I don’t see a single thing to complain about. Very happy I tried skybox because the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I will come back here!

Update: So, at the suggestion of another Unilocal user, I gave it another shot. Thank goodness that I’ll try anything twice. I wonder if maybe I just went on a bad day the last time because I went last week (06.Dec.15) and those beautiful TVs had tons of football on and they even picked a game to play the sound to.
It wasn’t the 49er game on the sound but I didn’t care. I was able to glance around at other TVs and the volume wasn’t so loud that you were distracted by it and unable to focus on the game you wanted to watch.
I really enjoyed it and will be back again and again.
I regularly visit this establishment during the week for a beer and I always enjoy it. It’s usually empty upstairs but I like that in most days. They have good beers and great service with really nice people working there.
Today, I went hoping to watch NFL games, and it was very very underwhelming. They were playing sleepy time music with beautiful HD football games on their awesome TVs. The entire atmosphere was counter productive to encouraging the patrons to enjoy themselves. That is really the main thing this bar is setup for and they blew it today.
I’m probably never going to go back sadly. That was my favorite bar downtown.
The three stars are an average of my previous visits and today, which was probably a negative star.

Used to come here to watch the game and eat wings. They now allow smoking inside… I’ll never eat here again…

Great atmosphere, tons of tvs to watch games, great food! Best place at market square to watch football!

I went in here twice today, Sat for 10 minutes each time and was never spoken to by any of the staff. The last time I sat at the bar and the bartender looked at me and walked away.

Sat outside with my pup and they were nice to give her some water. Service was okay once I got my meal, but took a minute to get drink and meal order. Beer was cold and filled to the rim, which was awesome. Panini was good and didn’t take too long to get out to me, but cheese didn’t melt very much, could have left it on a little longer. Chips and salsa is store bought. But used free Unilocal coupon, so it was whatever. Nice to sit outside on their patio.

I ran in here one night in a desperate tizzy trying to find a UFC fight being televised. They didn’t have it. And it was so desolate inside that I felt bad not ordering something. The drink was fine and the bartender was super nice, which is all I can accurately review. I didn’t try any food or anything else; just the one drink.
Sadly, I will say, I’ll never return. Nothing against this place, I just hate sports bars. I don’t really care that much for sports and doubly so for sports bars.
But, if that’s your thing, give it a go! If not, walk another ½ block.

The service is pretty good here, which is why I give it two stars total. However; we went on wing night. The wings took over 30 minutes to get to the table, there was almost no meat in the bones. The sauce was good, but when I asked for a beer, because they were on special pricing, they were out of beer but for full price I could have vodka. I don’t want vodka and wings, I want beer and wings as it says on the sign. Sorry, it’s just not good. Also, the music was so loud we were yelling at each other. By 5:30pm, the ambiance went from bad to club style.

My school hosted their Halloween party in their basement and it was pleasant. The upper level was quite empty though. You get the usual crowd where the drinker crowd stays around the bar, dancers are on the opposite end closer to the dj, and the middle crew is either texting, staring, taking pictures, trying to have a good time and of course chatting.

I would give ½ star if possible, only because they have nice TVs. Hot beer, horrific service– do NOT go here and hopefully they will close and another better bar will take it’s place.

If you like watered down mixed drinks, stale beer, bad food, terrible staff, and false advertising you’ll love this place. They advertise on their website that they have 50-​cent wings on Thursday. That’s a lie. They advertise «$ 3 Jack Daniel’s» drinks – that’s a lie (either that, or there is so little Jack Daniel’s in it you can’t taste it). Their food comes out cold and their beer is stale.
Plus, what kind of sports bar acts like night club? A terrible one.

Sunday ticket in Knoxville! Apparently Knoxville is not aware that after NCAA there is another whole football league for professionals (another term obviously foreign to the folks at Sky Box).
Walk in to a bar with 20 TVs and Sunday ticket to find more TVs than patrons, no sound, and three TVs with MTV, USA, and some other garbage on.
I asked for my game and the barkeep said he would «work on it» this kid was in the weeds with four people at the bar and the waitress handling the other six tables in the joint. Speaking of joints, the outwardly lethargic cook occasionally wandered out with plates of food, which I observed were made with about 70% accuracy, and blankly asked the tender where they go, before smoking his E-​cig through the FOH on his way back to the kitchen.
After watching the first half of their Jets game, with the video feed about three seconds behind their audio feed (they finally put the sound on shortly before the second quarter started), I finally got my third chance to talk to this flustered bartender, and ask for any of one of the screens to be switched to my game. Law & Order? Freaky Friday? Sunday ticket game matrix? Trivia, which nobody is playing? Can any of these be turned to my game? I’ve been humoring you for almost two hours now, and I’d love to watch the second half of my game. NOPE. Idiot simply could not get it figured out!
The obnoxious over served college kids can’t really be blamed on this incompetent staff, but, come on; all I wanted was one TV, ANY one, turned to my game on Sunday afternoon at the only self proclaimed «sports bar» in town.
Wings were good, one craft beer on tap; might as well order room service and watch football on gamecast next time I’m in town.

No one there on a Friday night… Out of multiple things that we wanted. Go somewhere else.

Good wings downtown finally! Good drink specials and nice servers. Just in time for March madness.
