When I was a kid I always loved photography. I had my first camera when I was 6 years old. It was seriously the first hobby I ever picked up, but never went too far with it. Then last year college changed some things for me.

I started out as a video production major at Pellissippi. I bought my first DSLR and was hooked on photography since. I’ve read numerous articles and watched hours of video. I can’t get enough of it.

The best part is when I meet new people to photograph and learn their story. I get to capture the pure emotion in the moment and they get to see it in my photos. Seeing the joy that the moment was captured just makes it all the more worth it.

I really have never been sure of what I want to do with my life. I’ve gone through a number of careers from satellite communication to video production. And nothing makes me happier than taking photos. I get passionate about it and I want to be the best.

I love getting to know my clients and ease things for them when taking photos. The first shoot is typically an ice breaker and you have to earn the trust of your client and I feel I do. Just take a few pictures and show them to the client. Usually when they see how good those ones are they loosen up and the pictures only get better.
