Great place to get your oil changed. They provide super speedy and professional service. They employees don’t try to make you feel like everything is wrong with your car just to make an extra penny. Definitely a great place! Plus they always seem to have coupons! :)

Super fast and work done right. I was in town on business and was having trouble with my truck. I went to the Ford Dealership and they would not even look at it since I didn’t have an appointment.
These guys got me in fast and out the door. Could not be happier. Even made my meeting on time!

I gotta give a shout out to these guys for the replacing the rack and pinion on my old rust-​bucket ZX2. I had tried replacing it but couldn’t get a few rusted bolts loose. I called around to ask what it would cost for various shops to do it, and the prices were all over the board. Cedar Bluff Auto Care was reasonable, approved by AAA (and close by) so I went with them.
Not only did they get it done in less than a day, they charged me $ 100 LESS than they had quoted! It drives perfectly, and zero leaks. I should’ve taken there first rather than spend 3 days trying to free the rusted bolts myself.
I have high standards regarding service and value, and they exceeded them. Highly recommended.

I was looking at the jeep at a gas station looking for the cause of my lack of antifreeze. A man walked up to me and asked if I needed help. I explained my problem. He leaned over the hood and pointed to the generous stain of radiator fluid around the water pump. He told me that he worked at the shop here and he could be here at 0730 to fix it. Unfortunately, I had to be in FL tomorrow. He said I could continue to pour fluid in the reservoir and suggested I get the pump changed ASAP.
He then had pitty and, even tho it was 5pm and the shop closed at 530, he stayed to place the new pump immediately without charging me a premium price.
It has been my only experience there and I will probably never go back, as I live hundreds of miles away, but they bent their schedule to accommodate mine, they did the job right, and they charged what I would expect a water pump to cost. They’ve earned my respect.

I consider myself a very fair person and I’m someone who listens to solid advice… usually. I was told by my parents to avoid using Cedar Bluff Auto Care because the prices would be high, however, very positive things were mentioned about tire purchases. My Mom said she always buys her tires here because, «He’s got good tires at reasonable prices.»
I didn’t need to purchase tires, however, I did have my 2004 Saturn Vue inspected and was told that I needed a catalytic converter, which I priced to be in the neighborhood of about $ 200 (

When I received a phone call from the owner, I was told that they would be replacing the spark plugs and wires (prices not mentioned at this time) and was asked if it would be okay to replace the catalytic converter, as this was the apparent cause of my engine trouble. He mentioned that the price would be over $ 350, which I thought was steep. He assured me that the work would be covered for the life of the ownership of the car. I have no plans to replace my vehicle in my immediate future, so I gave him the green to proceed.
I then went to pick up my vehicle and was met with complete surprise at my bill, which totaled over $ 500. Here’s a break down of the parts & labor cost:
$ 25 for replacement gas cap (my car had one when I delivered it to them)
$ 48 for spark plugs (not high performance)
$ 78 for spark plug wires
$ 388 for catalytic converter
I paid the bill after having a brief discussion with the owner about the fact that I had a gas cap (these attach to the car itself) when I delivered it to the shop. I was feeling very raw about the entire situation when I left the shop, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Less than 24 hours later, my check engine light reappeared. This time it was my rear O2 sensor, which I was told could have been replaced at the time of the initial repair, but wasn’t. This repair would be an additional $ 218.
Advance Auto has the rear O2 sensor for less than $ 100 (

Does this mean that I would have been charged over $ 100 for a 5 minute install? I think so…
Another perk of this experience, the seat and the floorboard were not protected from oil, which was all over my carpet and side panel. And my battery housing has a cover, which was apparently just thrown back on top of my engine and my hood was closed down upon the randomly placed battery cover. Wow, this carelessness speaks volumes to me.
I can speculate and guess that I was treated this way because I’m a woman, but I don’t want to play that card. I just think that this automotive center offered me a poor customer service experience, which was overly priced. And Mom’s do know best. Listen to the sage advice of your parents.

The gentlemen at Cedar Bluff Auto Care seem to be pretty straight shooters. Their turn-​around time is always reasonable. There was recently an issue with our car that their staff missed – they were willing to take some responsibility for this, and this was demonstrated by the final cost of the repair.
They have always treated us fairly and I would not hesitate to direct friends this shop.
