Will not be back. For a few reasons: 1. They do not have the swatches to look at for Gel colors so you have to look at the bottles to try to figure out the color you want which is not easy. 2. They have a very small selection of regular polish, and the lighting is really bad to try to see them. I had to literally get my cell phone out for my flashlight to see the colors. 3. Terrible customer service. When the guy was taking off my color he asked me about what color Gel polish I want. I had not had a chance to look at them yet so I said I know the name of the color and I told him. He immediately said«we don’t have that one». It was awkward he responded so soon without even thinking about it so I said«Really? How do you know so quickly?» Then he said«Ummm, I mean, I don’t think we have that one». I walked over to the display didn’t even have to turn the style… picked it right up! It probably doesn’t sound like a big deal as I type it, but it was obvious he was just dismissing me because he didn’t want to look for the color. 4. The lady kept asking me if I want a manicure with my Gel polish. I have never been asked this before when I get my nails done they just do the treatment. I don’t need a massage and all that but they should at least trim cuticles etc. Apparently this place has a scaled back version where you can just get Gel polish and they do not do nail bed/cuticle treatment? I thought it was strange. I had to literally ask her to please clean out from under one nail that had clay underneath it, and there was one cuticle that needed to be trimmed. It was quite awkward. 5. The whole time I was sitting there all the lady did was keep talking to her friend in their native language. It just seemed a little rude. I know most of them do this but the way these people did it just seemed more rude for some reason.

This will be the nail salon !!! I love this place. Omg so my husband had call me and told me we had a financial emergency and I had to get to ATM asap … The nail tech had just got done with my toes and I told him let me go to ATM(I’m not a thief, I told him to hold onto my DL, I be right back) he said. ok gosh I don’t like being in situations where a company may assume I’m getting away with stealing. I came straight back and he was so understanding. I can’t wait to review Wells Fargo that bank is such a piss hole, they canceled all of our cards … Talking about we swiping it in to many states… Wtf we been traveling!!! Duh!!! But, love this salon I will go back

Best nail place I have been to here in Tennessee. Very clean they clean the tubs after each client and sanitize all equipment. Very friendly staff. Lots of room for big groups/nail party. You can drink and get a pedicure! The older lady does my eyebrows she is very gentle. This is the only place my fiancé and I go to for pedicures! Will continue to have our repeat business. Have been going here a year now.

I’m not going to say that it was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had, considering I once let my 4-year-old paint my toe nails. Joking aside, I honestly had a very negative experience at Avalon Nails. I brought my Grandmother to have a relaxing pedicure, and we both experienced a rushed job which resulted in sloppy painting and mine chipped one day later. The staff members were very short with us, made no effort to ask whether or not we were happy with the service we were paying for. They did little to no cuticle work, did not buff or shape my nails, and overall looks terrible. I will never return.

I stopped by recently for a pedicure. I found the place to be really nice inside, much nicer than most. I did find the staff to be unprofessional and uninviting.

Since moving here last year, this is the best nail salon in Knoxville that I’ve been to. It’s reasonably priced, clean, not much of a wait, and has 8 pedicure chairs. They offer all nail services and do waxing as well. I would recommend this nail salon to those looking for one.

I am from out of town and found this salon by searching the web. The Unilocal reviews made me choose it. I made an appointment at 2 but arrived 45 mins early and only had to wait a few mins. Lee did a great pedicure. I would go to this salon if I lived in Knoxville.

I happened upon this place today while I was killing time before a doctor appointment. I’m SO glad I did! It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s very elegant and clean on the inside. I got the signature pedicure and it was great! It was very relaxing and felt wonderful! It was definitely one of the best pedicures I’ve gotten in Knoxville. And the prices are extremely reasonable! Pedicures start at just $ 25 and Manicures start at $ 12! I’ve found that at a lot of places in Knoxville you have to choose either a reasonable price or good quality. But here you get BOTH! I will definitely be back!

Go see Lee! He did my gel nails and pedicures for about a year. The salon is in the inside corner near Einstein bagels. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside is beautiful. Clean and elegantly designed. Now I’ve started to grow my own nails out so I have no need to go regularly. Gel refills are $ 18 – 20! Pedicures start at $ 25.
