Havana Kiss Cuban Cafe & Restaurant

I had the chicken with garlic sauze, fried yucca, and rice pudding. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. The black beans are very good. We were the only customers in the place which was odd considering the food. I will definitely be back.

Great Original Cuban food, cafecito cortadito, media luna, Sandwich Cubano, la yuca, el arroz, una combinación en un plato y el flan de postre, delicioso.

I had the charred skirt steak, it was cooked to perfection and seasoned deliciously. My husband had the garlic chicken and says it was «awesome» and «so garlicy.» Beers were cold and service was prompt. No complaints. Wasn’t totally impressed with the atmosphere, so only 4 stars, but it was ok.

If I could give this horrible place half a star I would! It was the most horrible experience in my life! Everything was horrible from the beginning to the end there is no customer service what so ever the food was delayed for more than 45 min we didn’t get our entrée. Our drinks were given to us 15 min later. Don’t go there you will regret every minute of it!!! Save your money for something better:)

I stop by and ask for to go menu alex said we don’t have to go menu… so I said ok see you latter about 7 pm we stop by and order food evrething was ok but the ropa vieja was salty the flan was delicious thanks alex the waiter

I had Ropa Vieja & a beef empanada, both were excellent! A true spiritual meal, right down to the fried plantains! Great service! I am definitely going back for seconds!

One family of 4 were there. Empty room. One waiter.
–I asked if we can have a booth in the sunshine. It’s just Myself, bf & 5yr old. He points to a booth in a dark corner. I say no and wave over to the sunny original booth I asked for. He sat us. Another family of 4 came in. They were already helped & getting drinks before we even got to order ours.
The guy comes over finally, I order my child her food w a Choco milk & then my boyfriend orders a Cuban sandwich w chicken rather than pork Or beef.
…The freaking waiter looks up at him and actually whistled while rolling his eyes before writing it down. We were shocked. My turn to order… A table of 6 people walk in and sit down, …waiter stopped me from ordering & left to attend those 6peoples drink orders.
Again We were stunned. Looking at eachother we just expressed our incredible unhappiness to him regarding their service and walked out.
–Stay away from here at all costs!!! There are plenty of GREAT Cuban places other than here! Dirty, rude, smelly just all around bad place.

My wife is a 1^st generation American with the rest of her family direct immigrants from Cuba, and we knew that Florida had good Cuban food, but let me tell you…
This was divine. It’s like the best kept secret in Orlando! The restaurant seems to be family owned and if you speak Spanish, the man that owns the place is friendly and happy to have a conversation. The server was kind of quiet and didn’t speak much English, and the place was pretty empty at 10 PM on a Saturday Night, but it didn’t matter to us! My wife ordered for us, so I don’t know what the name of the meal was, but it had the rice and black beans (yum), plantains on the side (yummy), tamale (yummier), croquettas (tooooooo good), and fried pork (absolutely melt-​in-​your-​mouth amazing). We were beyond pleased and will be back when we visit Orlando in the future!

The waiter was an idiot, literally, slow service, had to leave before getting our order.

Horrible! Place is dirty, smells bad, and service is awful! Only one server and he was a joke. Didn’t know how to take an order and gave a big sigh when he was done as if it was a problem for him to take our order. Then had the nerve to come back to our table 10min later to say «oh guys we just ran out of coffee». How do u own a Cuban restaurant and now have any Cuban coffee??? That’s unheard Of!

Very good food and service! I can definitely taste the authenticity in it. It tastes very fresh. I will be coming here a lot! Good prices with very hearty portions. Their homemade juices are also REALLY good! Service was great. Couldn’t complain. Server was very friendly and prompt.

This restaurant is a ripe off and the food was not good. We have been to many different Latin cultural restaurants including Cuban. This has been totally the worst experience. the price for the sandwiches are nearly $ 10 no meat and bread was old. Beans were from the can and then not seasoned at all. Really sad example of Cuban inspired food… Don’t waste your time or money.

Server was super nice, BUT IT ISN’T AUTHENTIC! The portions are small. Chimichuri sauce made with balsamic vinegar. Chicharron de pollo were chicken tenders… enough said.

I want to give Negative stars to this horrible place, i spent $ 23 on a Cold and old disgusting «ropa vieja» everything is old and they over charge to turists and everyone!

Was here for lunch with a few friends we were the only people in the whole place service was very friendly and the food was good.

Waitress was nice but food was mediocre. I had the house special. They call it ropa vieja but it’s prepared different. Looks and taste more like beef stew. Really disappointed with this place.

The food was good, but the service at the beginning was slow, I say at the begining because I was eating and they gave me the bill without asking me if I want coffee or desert, I was thinking to drink a Cuban coffee but after that I just paid and leave…
The 3 start is just for the food, disappointed

Food was mediocre. The garlic chicken was not very good. It’s like they just grilled it and sprinkled bottled minced garlic on top and served it. Service was okay. I don’t like the 18% gratuity for 6 people, in other restaurants it’s 8 people. We had 3 adults and 3 kids. The best thing we ate was empanadas but still wasn’t great. I had the sirloin with chimmichurri sauce and it was blah. We are now looking for a place to kill the taste in our mouths.

Tasty Cuban food, big portions.
We were on our way back to our Disney resort and my wife wanted a pizza. I didn’t really feel like having pizza, but lucky for us Havana Kiss is a few businesses down from the Pizza Hut on 192.
I wanted a good Cuban sampler to take back to the room, so I ordered the Montuno Havanero. I also ordered some plantains and an empanada (beef was the only choice).
We arrived at around 2 in the afternoon and I had to wait for only 20 minutes for the food. Luckily, my wife’s pizza was done at the same time. My total came to about $ 22. It was a bit more than I was expecting to spend, but the food was very good.
My teenage daughter and I tried the plantains and empanada. My daughter did not care for the thicker-​cut empanadas, but I thought they were good. They did need some type of sauce with them, though. The empanada was huge and tasty. My daughter took the empanada away from me right away and she was happy having that for a meal.
I enjoyed my entrée. I had 3 – 4 pieces of fried pork, and the meat was delicious. It went well with the tasty Yuca. The tamal that came with the meal was a larger tamale than I am used to in Houston. It was mostly cornmeal, and probably 2 inches in diameter. Big and delicious. The moro rice consisted of black beans mixed with rice, and it was very tasty as well.
I was not served any sauces with my to-​go order, but I did see some in the online photos. You might want to ask for some if you get a to-​go order.
Overall, a good, delicious meal, and I will return for more.

Este lugar no saben lo que es comida cubana. Da pena que diga cubano porque la comida cubana es deliciosa y aquí todo es horrible nada que ver con esta deliciosa comida yo no le daría ni 1 estrella pero como hay que poner 1 ni modo. Cambien al cocinero (a). Pongan mejor comida.

On vacation and dying to have some real Cuban food… we’ll let me tell you! We were on our way back to the hotel… kids we’re sleeping… decided to call ahead to order food… We had about 20 mins before we got there (per GPS :)) so I called… Well! Idk if maybe it’s the Floridian
Aid back mindset or what but… a guy answered I stated hi id like to place an order… he said can u call back I’m busy on the computer… call in 5 mins??? Wtf! Who runs a business like that! Do you NOT know there are a million places to eat and you just totally blew me off! and we are a party of 6! We were going to AT LEAST drop 100 $ easy… but no… too busy on the computer?! I laughed 15 mins later when my phone rang as we drove right passed them and saw the place was COMPLETLY empty!!!

It was a good lunch. Prior to ordering the waiter provide warm garlic bread. It was very good. Then I had a croquette which was also very good. The pan con bistec was ok, the meat was a bit tough but still nicely seasoned. After all that I couldn’t resist a chicken empanada. That was really tasty. Overall if you are near Fun Spot, try this little restaurant.
