The Barber Shoppe

Probably the only really great hair and beard cut I’ve ever had. I’m tempted to buy a house in the area just to stay near the barber.

I decided to give the barber shoppe another try, and I am glad I did. I have been back three times since my first review and they have all been great cuts!

Love this spot! Good old fashion barber shop! Been there a couple times and happy with each barber I have had… Heading in right now even!

Been looking for a permanent spot since I moved to this area and Michael earned that this evening. Best haircut I’ve ever had. I got off work later than usual and was the only one in the shop on a Friday and he was a perfectionist. I always notice and appreciate quality in any service being a perfectionist myself. Worth every cent. I will be a regular here on out.

Payam is the best. Consistent time after time. He is worth the wait. He is very detail oriented and never misses a hair. He is always working and the longest I’ve ever waited was 30min. Been going to him for a few years now and will continue until he moves or retires. Be sure to tip him well since he does do such a great job.

First time customer. Used Unilocal to direct me to a local barbershop. Good find! Went on a monday, no lines, got a seat right then!!! Michael was a great guy, kept a conversation, and did a GREAT job cutting my hair. Went for the combo and got a close shave with my haircut. The way to go! I will be back!

Great place! Great shave! Fun atmosphere! This is like what a barber shop should be like. I was recommended this shop last week, had my first haircut n a shave and I will definitely go back.

If your looking for a good shop, look no further! I usually go in every couple of weeks and I never walk away disappointed, Michael who I see, is a very friendly, down to earth guy, and he does a great job on my hair every time! Knocking down another star due to false claims in response to my previous review from the manager.
Manager wrote :“This is unfortunately and we apologize, In fact we all apologized to this man and tried to give him a certificate to receive another complimentary shave in the future, he simply wanted his money back, So we gave him a refund on his shave. He also received a haircut which he had no complaints.“
What apology? What refund? And I was there just for a shave, my hair is not even long enough to get a haircut. Much less it was not even offered. In hindsight, I should not have tipped at all.

I was tempted to give a 4 star review but I was overall satisfied with my experience with Payam. He did a great job. I showed him a picture of my hair and he cut it very similar. The only reason for the temptation was because of the backside of my hair when he asked if I was happy with the cut. It was almost a diagonal line from the fade from one side of my head to the other. Gladly he fixed it for me and it came out great.
I will be coming back because the straight razor shave on the neck line is a superior experience. After the shave, the barber adds an after shave and turns the blow dryer on a low heat to your neck and creates an exceptional sensation. Sweet cut too.

Great location, easy parking, very clean full-​service barbershop. I had Payam as a barber — very detailed, fixed up my beard and did an awesome fade! Cash or check only but there is an ATM close by. I showed up without an appointment — no problem.

Just what I was looking for in my neighborhood. Love the hot foam and straight razor on the neck line and that they offer a straight razor shave too! They only take cash or checks just so ya know.

So this shop has been here forever and there isn’t one review? Unilocalers, you are slipping. Okay, so I live in the Juanita area and happen to be extremely picky about my hair. I’ve gone to other shops in the area, including Touch of Class in Kirkland, which is a great little shop. When I moved into this area I started looking around and if there is one thing Juanita does NOT have a shortage of, it’s people that cut hair.
I took a chance and went into the Barber Shoppe because well… I’m a man and that is where men should go to get their hair cut in my opinion. Stepping inside, you are immediately comfortable. It looks like a barber shop, it smells like barber shop, and they have people doing sports on the TV sometimes… you know, people putting thing in the thing and scoring points? Right. Anyway, I’ve gone here a dozen times and have received haircuts from at least 5 different barbers. These guys are open every day and they seem to have an endless supply of barbers. This can be a bad thing if some barbers suck and some don’t, but I haven’t received a subpar haircut since I’ve been coming. My preference is to get Payam or Michael to cut my hair because their tapered haircuts are fantastic in my opinion.
They offer face shaves and unlike some barbers, they actually seem competent with their razors and the wonderful process that comes with getting a straight razor shave. In fact I am going to get one this morning along with a haircut for my birthday.
This place can get busy and parking can suck a little, but more often than not I’m able to get in without a wait and I live close enough to walk. Their prices are a bit spendy, especially if you are used to paying 10 bucks for a barbershop haircut elsewhere. I pay for the constancy, the atmosphere, and the convenience. They do offer military discounts of about 5 bucks off your haircut, which I use every time. Ive been to Payam a few times and I still have to ask every time. He remembers my haircut but not that I’m in the military. To offset the discount, I make sure and tip my barbers accordingly.
This place has my highest recommendation. If you can afford it, give it a shot, and honestly if you are looking for a haircut in Juanita, you are probably driving a Lexus, so quit being a cheap asshole and come and get yer hair did!
