Starr’s Simple Spaces

I had a great time brainstorming with my organizer, Justina! She is a great listener. I appreciated all the great ideas that I hadn’t thought of. I felt very comfortable talking to her about my ideas/​thoughts/​goals. I felt like I had a friend over to chat about my «chocolate» condo! :)
Thank you for the follow-​up info. After you left, I took a deep breath, poured myself a glass of vino, & started my list of to-do’s & more Pinterest pinning! Oh, and budgeting because this isn’t going to be cheap!
I do have some feedback though…
I don’t fully agree with the price of the consultation, albeit a Living Social Deal. I think I just imagined the Organizer would come into my condo & suggest ideas/​options, then provide me with more detailed info as to where/​what to purchase along with easy, click-​here-​to-​buy-​that type of info. Pinterest was utilized & was helpful, but I could & have done that type of research myself. Our time was well spent, but I think I could have had a family member or friend come over & offer ideas for free. (Downside: friend/​family may not be «honest» like a Organizer would.)
I would have liked more detailed information as to what & where to purchase storage options (bins, shelves, shelving units) for each space.
For example, it would be helpful for me to have been given the following info for the potential shelves in the loft:
— Store names that sell shelf options
— The Organizer could have measured my space where the shelves would go & then research potential options that would fit in that space
— Then a link to purchase these options could be provided — not just a Pinterest picture, but for example, an actual Container Store link directly to the product options, then a West Elm option, then another option, etc.
— All the purchasing «steps» excluding the actual purchase could be done by the Organizer so that the client could easily jump on the internet, click & purchase the chosen option — skipping all the «work» (finding the stores, looking thru the many applicable & inapplicable options, measuring, etc.)
Another example…
We discussed shelves & bins in the kitchen, however, we didn’t get down to the «nitty-​gritty» as to where I could purchase the items (store names, many options/​sizes (do I want tall? deep? shallow? enclosed?), links to applicable options, measurements that would fit in that space, etc.). Again, I guess I just thought I would be provided with a list of «these-​are-​the-​options-​that-​will-​fit-​in-​this-​space» for each space.
Again, I loved having Justina over for my first Organizing experience! She was awesome & I felt like she spoke freely & honestly, which is not always the case when someone is talking about another’s intimate & personal space such as their home.
I look forward to having another Organizing session after I get to work on my current (long) list of to-do’s!!!

I was a little apprehensive about letting someone in to help me organize my office, my living room and bathroom and had no idea how long it would take. However, my fears were quickly relieved! Starr is an excellent communicator! She is totally non-​judgemental, sees the big picture, hardworking, and had great ideas! I was overwhelmed with these 3 rooms and yet Starr was able to work efficiently/​quickly, respectfully and kindly. Her natural gifting for organizing and cleaning is obvious. She totally transformed those rooms that I had been trying to forget about for so long. I kept thinking I could do it on my own, but the truth is, I needed help. And Starr went above and beyond what I was expecting or even hoping for.
I highly recommend Starr and her assistant (Lauren). We had a great time together! Seriously, 5 hours with Starr and Lauren were the gift of a lifetime. I will definitely use their services again in the future. Hands-​down, absolutely fabulous.

We are expecting twins and needed help organizing existing kids rooms as well as getting ready for twins in a room with no closet. Starr’s Simple Spaces were great. They were professional, kind to our kids (who were under foot) and were full of good ideas. I am very pleased with the results. I highly suggest you use them for cleaning closets as well as organizing any area that needs some help in your home.

I am a mom of three kids and I work part time… although I love my life… life is full which means some spaces in my home are neglected… that is where Starr came to my rescue! What can seem like an overwhelming/​impossible task, Starr makes the task at hand both simple and possible. Starr takes a vulnerable situation and leads in a practical and enjoyable way. Starr is great in that she works well on her own, while at the same time she is willing to take any input you may have. Starr is incredibly creative and brilliant at finding unique, cost effective ways to organizing your spaces; ultimately Starr left me feeling my life was a bit more organized as a whole. Starr is diligent, motivating, time effective, and trustworthy… all of which I was looking for in a person if they were going through and organize my personal things! My experience with Starr was amazing and I highly recommend her and her excellent work!
