Safety for Toddlers

After several weeks they did send me a refund of the $ 60 install of the child gate. So maybe 2.5 stars.

I am finally sitting down to write a review for this business nearly two years after they did our baby proofing inspection and sold us products. I should have known from the beginning to steer clear — the babyproofer did not show up for our initial appointment and did not call. However, when I called her, she apologized profusely and scheduled another appointment, so I decided to give her a second chance.
The service is good in that they do go through your home and point out lots of areas that need to be babyproofed (this is why I gave it two stars instead of just one). There were many things I didn’t think of.
However, trouble started again when I called with a question about some of the gates we had purchased. The woman I spoke to was immediately defensive and rude, when all I wanted was for her to remind me where everything went. Again, I figured maybe she was having a bad day and I let is slide. The real reason this company is not worth your time or money is that they are hugely overpriced and now, nearly two years later, every single piece that I bought from them has been defeated by my 1.5 yr old and 3yr old boys. Yes, these are active toddler boys, but isn’t that the whole point of babyproofing?! The plastic cupboard locks have all broken (the plastic is snapped in half), the stair gate has been ripped out of the wall, the window locks NEVER worked properly, etc. etc. etc. Literally everything is broken or never worked properly. What a load of junk! I would never buy another product from these people because they simply do not work long term and you are left having to replace them all and having an unsafe home in the meantime. And it’s not like their products came cheap — we spent nearly a thousand dollars on the inspection and purchase of all the products.
