My Pet’s Vet Clinic

Prices are great! Service was good. I went out of my way to go there because it was recommended for their good prices. I was not disappointed and saving the money was worth the trip.

I’ve been taking my pets (dogs and cats) to this clinic for the past 10+ years. I am not always diligent in ensuring up-​to-​date pet vet visit, but when I need to (routine or emergency), I can always count on them to fit me in right away. I recently had my standard poodle neutered, they did a great job and I got a phone call the following day to follow up on how he’s doing. Maybe it’s standard practice for vet clinics to call/​follow up after surgery but the way they do it really makes you (your pet, that is) feel special and cared for. Their prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and service is always great.

Had to get a health certificate so my dog could fly on Alaska Airlines. This place seems to be walk-​in only/​first come first serve. I had no wait (went on a weekday morning), and everyone there was super friendly!

I called for a vet clinic nearby me. the clinic was walk in first come first served which was nice! I had to get my baby puppy her vaccinated. They were real fast! I like that. The lobby was clean. They had a tv on the wall to watch and learn about microchip your pets. The staff loved my puppy as she was so tiny and cute! They gave me a receipt listed what shots she had and a follow up for her shot series. Thank you very much for welcoming me and Savannah! The price was very reasonable!

Iv always used this vet office because they are WAY cheaper than any other, but honestly the past couple of visits I have been stuck WAITING forever!!! I just got home after being there for 2 full hours. I showed up at 1pm (after they had lunch) and was the first person there and on the list. When I finally got in the exam room after waiting about 35 minutes In the lobby with two already freaked out dogs, I had to wait yet another 20 minutes for the vet to come in! The check up only took maybe only another 30 minutes to exam both dogs and get shots. So there goes an hour and 25 minutes. Then I was back in the lobby just waiting to pay. Now this is the part that annoyed me the most, everyone who has come in AFTER me had already come and gone. I was the only one in the lobby with two extremely stressed out dogs. Worst part? I counted 9 people «working» yet no one started a bill for me. Another lady who had just come out of an exam room with two kittens that the entire staff kept getting gah gah for and distracted by was able to quickly pay and leave. The vet who had checked up my dogs ended up coming out to the lobby and saw me still sitting there after about 35 minutes after our check up. She finally got on everyone’s case about ringing me up and they FINALLY did. So long story short, don’t go here unless you have about half a day to spend. Pretty unprofessional to keep stressed out dogs waiting that long at a place they really don’t want to be at. Too much staff works there to be so darn slow at everything.

Love love love! A friend recommended I go here as I couldn’t afford the quote I got elsewhere. Not only was it affordable but the staff was so caring and knowledgeable. I have been recommending it to friends and family ever since. I have finally found a permanent vet for my little man!
I got a quote at banfield that was twice what theirs was, and included services my dog ended up not even needing. They made me and my dog feel important, not like they were trying to make money from me.
I also love that most services you can get on a walk in basis. I have a very hectic schedule and this makes life so much easier for me.
I highly recommend you check them out. I am extremely pleased!

Worst vet ever! Would love nothing more than to have this place shut down! Wrong dose given to my cat, wrong price qoutes, horrible customer service and almost killed my cat! Had to take him elsewhere for emergency surgery ($ 3000) and even the new vet said they couldn’t read the charts and they were not helpful.

I have taken my Husky, Kiba here since he was a pup, we don’t go often but when he needs shots or has a problem we usually get right in. Kiba is a very shy dog and does not like people he doesn’t know to touch him (it’s like he thinks they are going to steel his fur or something), however, when we bring him here he doesn’t have a problem letting the vet or the assistants do what they need to do. And for me, that says a lot about them, that he can trust them to touch his oh so precious fur haha
I have never had an issue with this vet, and they have always been friendly and handle my Kiba with care :-)

Worst vet I’ve ever been. Staff misled me into thinking they were going to conduct an examination for my sick pet. During the mid-​point of the examination, the veterinarian informed me that they actually don’t have all the equipment to conduct a full examination and I’d actually have to go elsewhere. They gladly took my money though!

We have taken our cats here with no problems at all. It is walk-​in, so you may have a wait. Recently, we had to put our poor old cat down and came here. They staff was so kind and caring! When the decision was made that it was time for the old guy, they let me wait in the room until my husband came. Everything was explained every step of the way. We were allowed to stay in the room until we were ready to go. I hate to bring up «money», but it was very low cost. The staff also sent a nice card a couple days later! I appreciate the kindness of the staff.

My dog usually has to be sedated to get his nails clipped. Other places have scared the daylights out of him. When i spoke to the lady she mentioned she may be able to do it without the sedation (I was very doubtful lol) so we took him and she was able to clip them without any problems :) saved us $$$ for sedation. Makes you think why VCA weren’t able to do the same thing (3 times)…maybe they just wanted the money? Anyway My Pet Vet did an amazing job and he’s been back twice without any problems. Definitely changing to this clinic for all my animals. Nicer people, great service and doesn’t cost a fortune.

I have taken my now 8 month old Golden Retriever puppy to this vet for all puppy visits and have had a great experience. Very affordable and they have provided great service. I always get in with little wait. Most recently we had him neutered and he is doing great two weeks after the procedure. Why pay twice or more the cost???
I would agree with another post that I have not met the vets on staff so I can’t comment on them. Having them more visible and meet pet owners would be great.

This clinic has been where I have taken my cats for over a decade. Recently, however, they seem to be going downhill.
Six months ago, I took my 14yro female cat to the clinic because she dropped a lot of weight. They ran blood tests on her and called me when the results came in. The vet said she was in the very beginning stages of kidney disease, common in elderly cats. Eventually, she may need to be put on a special kidney diet, a lower protein diet that most cats do not care for, and we should bring her back to be retested in 6 months.
Soon after that visit, we brought her back in for some other reason for which I cannot remember, but when we were checking out, the receptionist asked us if she was doing okay with her kidney diet. Uh, no, she’s not on one yet. I am not sure why she thought our cat was on the special diet when the vet told us it was not necessary yet.
Fast forward 6 months. Celine, our cat, is going in for new blood test to see how her kidney disease is progressing. First of all, they are confused as to why we brought her in. Then, the tech asks how her kidney diet is going. Then, the vet comes in and says she does not know why the previous vet told us Celine had kidney disease; her tests came back normal. They drew her blood for testing. They would call when the results were in.
When they got the results, the vet called me, but I missed the call and returned it 20 minutes later. At that time, 4:00, the doctor was busy, but they told me they would have her call. At about 5:30, I decided to call them again. They had been closed for half an hour. I left a message stating that I had called earlier and was told my call would be returned, but obviously they were now closed. I left my name and number.
I expected my call to be returned first thing the next morning. It wasn’t. Mind you, I am worried about my cat! At noon, I called them again. I was told there was only one vet on duty, and she was busy. They would give her a note to call me immediately. Again, I did not receive a call back that day.
The next day, I was pretty livid. I called and explained that I had been calling for 3 days to get the results of my cat’s blood draw. The receptionist told me the vets were in rooms and she would leave them a message to call me back. No thanks, put me on hold, I’ll wait. She said if I get disconnected… I interrupted her and told her not to worry; I would call right back. I did get disconnected, and I did call right back. This time a different receptionist answered. She explained that one vet was in surgery, and the other was in a room. I didn’t care, I was going to hold for a doctor. Ten minutes later, success, a vet gave me the results. Not sure why it had to be this hard!
Bottom line for me is that I felt it was unconscionable to make me have to keep calling back and not return my calls when I was worried about my cat! It’s totally inexcusable. And, all of the conflicting information given to me just rubbed me the wrong way. It’s like no one was on the same page around there. Gives me some trust issues, honestly. I am losing faith in my long time vet’s clinic. Very sad.

this is the worst place to ever bring an animal. they almost killed my poor cat by over treating him with medicine. i ended up having to take him to an animal hospital and spending 3500.00 dollars to fix how they messed him up and now he has to stay on special food for the rest of his life. this place is horrible. do not go here!!!

I was referred here from my regular vet because I recently lost my job and couldn’t afford it. I was worried at first, but these guys are very kind, and staffed by professionals at other emergency animal clinics, so they know their stuff. The staff has been friendly and understanding all three times I had to go there for my cat’s bladder stones, and gave me excellent free advice for what I could do, even gave me lists of places to go and foods to buy that weren’t sold there at the clinic (everywhere else I’ve been to has pushed their own expensive brand).
I don’t understand why so many people gave this place 1 star, of course you’re going to wait if you’re a walk-​in and there’s only one vet on duty. These guys are awesome. Be grateful.

I took my boyfriend’s dog here to get her limp checked out. The staff was very professional and kind. The wait was pretty quick, though I was there on a Monday morning, so I assume its busier in the evenings.
The vet was very thorough and examined our dog carefully and with tenderness. She was diagnosed with a sprained knee and given medication and orders for crate rest.
I am an RN and I have a critical eye for health care settings. I was Impressed with this clinic. It’s not fancy. But it’s clean, efficient, and kind.

DONT GO THERE! they dont care about your pets and just rips you off.
i took my cat mimosa there to figure out why she is itchy. they said she might be allergic and gave her a shot. they said if the shot didnt work in between 3 – 5 weeks i can go back for another exam and shot for free. i brought her in again because it didnt help. they charged me for the shot. i was really mad. they didnt even give her an exam they just took her back to the room and then brought her out. i didnt like that they didnt bring me back in the room with her to calm her down because she was really nervous and doesnt like vet visits. they dont care just wants your money. they did not give me any advice or try to tell me why her skin is itchy.
theres a reason why its so cheap there. its not personal and they dont care! they just want your money.
never going back there again!!! i love my cats and i want them to be treated right not POORLY.

I work at a «real» vet now, but before I knew better, I took my kitty here to get neutered (around 3 years ago). I figured it was a lot less expensive than other clinics in the area, and it was 2 minutes from my house, so what the hell. Yes it was cheap, but you get what you pay for! I got him back still VERY groggy from anesthesia, obviously in pain, and just not right… He hid for days after his surgery, and at the time I didn’t know that he was probably suffering. I just figured he was stressed and would get over it. I know better now, but I still feel horrible for putting him through this, and I don’t believe that people should have to have experience in the veterinary field to get good service and quality care for their pets – clinics like this one should not exist.
At a regular animal hospital, it is quite a bit more expensive to spay or neuter a pet, but most do pre operative bloodwork to make sure the pet is healthy enough for anesthesia, keep them overnight, send pain medication home, and see them two weeks later to remove sutures/​check the incision site. NONE of these options were offered to me at My Pets Vet, and I now know how important they are. When clients ask me about the pricing at my clinic vs. low cost places like My Pets Vet, I always tell them about my terrible experience and let them decide for themselves. Besides, pets ARE expensive, which is something that people should be aware of before commiting to the life long care of an animal :)
Also…a few weeks after I had my cat neutered here, I took him in to get him microchipped. Not only did I wait for 3 hours (I know it’s a walk-​in clinic, but chipping a pet takes less then 5 minutes), it was actually more expensive at my pets vet than it is where I work now. Just saying…

My dad has been taking my dog here for 14 years and unfortunately we made our last trip in there this week.
It was my elderly dog’s «time.» We were very fortunate that she never had any tumors, cancer, or any other serious health problems, she simple was old. Like most Siberian Huskies, they are prone to hip dyplasia and cataract both of which she got later in life. But alas, she did not have the zest for life in her like she used to and we knew it was her time.
It broke my heart to have to bring her in and put her down. I am just glad i was able to be there with her in her final moments and say my goodbyes to a best friend and companion. She was my childhood dog.
We had a private room, and I held her in there. The doctor came in and let us know that she would be prepping the injection and explained to us the procedure. We stayed the whole time and I am glad we did. And for the first time in several years she looks pain free and peaceful.
This was by far the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but I know it was the right thing to do. After the injection was done and she slowly went to sleep, the doctor gave us a few minutes to say our final goodbyes.
We had a private cremation for her so we could get the ashes back.
I have never had to do this before but the procedure went well and the staff was very kind and respectful.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!
i originally read reviews online about how horrible this place was but decided to go here because it was so cheap… NOW i regret making this decision!
they misdiagnose your animals, give you the wrong information, convince you to waste money on stuff you dont need.
One time I went into the clinic and I was told that my cats have plaque build up on their teeth, she told me that I should feed my cats dry kibble for food… (I feed them a raw grain free diet because cats are carnivores not humans and lions and tigers dont eat grass, they eat meat) so i believed her and actually gave my cats dry food… well the plaque just got worse! then i went to this AMAZING pet store called «All The Best Pet Care» in redmond and bellevue and they told me that is the last thing you want to do! and they were right! Its basically like brushing your teeth with pretzels… so the pet store gave me small chicken necks and the plaque was gone!!!
bottom line… only go there if you need vaccines otherwise dont even walk into the place! it will do more damage than good.
