Michael Mussman Photography provides natural, friendly and organic photography. Michael has a laid back, friendly and fun personality and helps his clients to relax, have fun and have the best portrait experience ever.

History

Established in 1992.

Michael started photographing professionally in Bellingham, right out of college. After starting a successful studio in Bellingham, cutting his teeth and learning what not to do, he moved to the Seattle area to continue learning and honing his skills.

Today, Michael utilizes the natural beauty of Seattle and the Eastside for the backdrop of his environmental portraits.

Michael has been interested in photography since he was about 5, when his father gave him his first camera so he would stop «borrowing» his.

While in college, still trying to figure out what he wanted to do with his life, he started talking to Russ Clift, a Master Photographer in Bellingham and eventually did a nine month apprenticeship with him. Learning from those that have worked for years to perfect their craft has been a very rewarding way to learn.

Today, Michael still pushes himself to learn the latest techniques and the best business practices so he can continue to create happy clients with beautiful portraits for today and years to come.
