The sweet tea is to die for and so is the filet fish!!! Changed my mind on «fast food» again :)

Worst service ever! We sat in the drive through for 20 min. Reached the window and no one was there. Almost drove off but wanted our Ice Cream cones. Cars were driving way honking because service was so horrible.

I go here for lunch sometimes as I work really close by, and they have always been very prompt and accurate! Two major things that contribute to my experience at a McDonalds. Food on par for any McD’s location and staff always polite :)

I’ve been through this McDonalds many times, since it’s not far from my home, and it has generally been the kind of consistent, indifferent experience that one would expect. Until tonight’s trip through the drive-thru. I saw a package deal listed for $ 10 and attempted to order it. The order taker didn’t know what I was talking about, and told me to order something else. I said, I’m ordering from your posted menu. He argued and insisted I order something else, telling me, the menu is wrong. Um, what? It’s posted, right here. If its posted you should honor it. The manager came out and removed the posted item from the menu, telling me it was no longer available, and to order when I was ready. At this point, I decided I’d rather just skip it, because, really, who needs McDonalds that much? I told him we were going elsewhere. He proceeded to argue with me about how he wasn’t being rude, it was just that it was simply not possible for him to enter that deal in his system. I have difficulty believing that, or believing that he couldn’t come up with some way of honoring a posted price, or that he and his staff couldn’t find a more polite way of admitting and rectifying their error. I understand that compromises come along with buying at low price points, but flat-out rude customer service should never be one of them.

I love this McDonald’s restaurant! Although I don’t frequent it very often, when I do the customer service is amazing. Several months ago, I was on my lunch break and decided at the last minute to go to McDonald’s. I ordered at the drive through menu but when I drove up to the window to pay for my meal the acting manager told me that the computers had just shut down. Naturally, I expected that I’d have to pull into the vehicle waiting area. To my surprise the manager told me that my meal was on the house! I was pleasantly surprised and so thankful. That is the way to run a business. :)

Terrible dining room service. Stopped going to this location because there are so many people behind the counter doing nothing, If you walk in and there is no one ahead of you, the staff ignores you. Even the people who appear to be managers or supervisors. The last time I was in, there were 4 people behind the counter. Two appeared to be dealing with a situation with the register. Two others were standing back, but watching. I walked in and the manager/supervisor looked up and said nothing, Neither did anyone else. Then another worker came in, looked at me, then looked away and said nothing. After standing there unacknowledged for a few minutes, I walked out. I don’t think they even noticed. Unfortunately, this type of service is typical almost every time I have been there. Also, every time I go in, my small orders take several minutes to pull together, even if I’m the only one in the dining room. They appear to give priority to the drive through and ignore the dining room orders. Go to the Totem Lake location. They are friendly and fast in the dining room AND the drive through!

This is a review based on multiple carry-out orders from the McDonald’s on 124th Ave in Kirkland, Washington. While, as large-scale global food chains go, McDonald’s offer a very consistent experience, contrary to public opinion, not all McDonald’s are the same. For instance, go to the McDonald’s in Escondido, CA and feel the great disappointment as your Filet o’ Fish is served on a hard toasted bun, repeatedly. However, this McDonald’s in Kirkland has a number of things going for it. My brother(who is always the drive-by guy) has reported they are friendly and polite and that, each time, the food was prepared quickly. He uses the drive-thru. Even after the short trip home, the food is still just as I hope for from McD’s. I always have a Quarter Pounder w cheese.(yes, for you Pulp Fiction fans, that is the Royale with cheese). I also have a Filet ‘o’ Fish and a large order of fries. An additional plus(well for me) is this McDonald’s hasn’t developed the fear of the salt shaker around the fries. They still whip it out and the fries are like old-school McDonald’s fries, salty. A win for me! A loss for those of you who do not appreciate lots of salt on your McFries. One negative though, and on more than one occasion, my fry container was not full and I could not find any of the escapees in the bag. The food is neatly packed. Also, as they are preparing them, they do not mercilessly smash the sandwiches. The cost(Meal for Two without drinks): $ 19.22 While I do not know what the dine-in experience is like, this is a great McDonald’s for carry-out. Friendly and effective drive-thru service combined with well-prepared McDonald’s food makes for a win-win golden arches experience. They rate 4 stars on the International Fast Food Scale.

One would think all McDonalds were the same, but one would then be oh so wrong! This McD’s is clean and serves the usual Mickey D fare(say what you will, but I Iove their salads and big $ 1 Cokes). But the drive-thru could be improved. For one, at times it is nearly impossible to clearly hear the speaker/order-taker at times. Like, it can be embarrassingly difficult to hear and understand each other. And, even though the staff is usually nice, it can be hit or miss. Last time, while trying to pay at the drive-thru’s second window, I searched and searched for a penny in my wallet(I was one cent off the cost of my meal). The line is forming behind me, getting ever longer. I told the guy at the window that I was looking for a penny, I was one cent off. Now, in this situation, most establishments would say to forget about the penny, no? I mean, most places even have a small plate of extra pennies by the cash for this type of scenario. And the line of cars behind me is growing and growing as I scrounge through my purse now for one measly cent. I couldn’t believe the guy didn’t tell me to just forget the penny! Finally I just handed him a $ 20 bill and said to just break it. But this whole experience, as petty as it was, left an impression on me. Just odd.

This is a really good McDonalds. I will not rate the food, because it is standard McDonalds food, but the service is always really good! No complaints here!

I was driving from Redmond to Kirkland and had to pee desperately. It was the first time driving on the Eastside and wasn’t sure how far my destination was(ended up being 2 minutes away) so when I saw those glorious golden arches, hallelujah, I was saved! The bathroom was a little gross, but the rest of the McDonald’s looked modern and clean. While I usually reserve McDonald’s desperation for long road trips and drunken nights in Vegas(they have the spicy McChicken year-round!), I was hungry and decided to order food since I was there. The food was typical McDonald’s quality so I can’t complain or praise it for that matter. The people who worked there looked happy, though, which was nice.

I mean, McDonald’s is McDonald’s. It was pretty clean. I had my fave Filet-O-Fish with Fries. I think they put some kind of crack in their fries. Or heroin. Addicting.

So I love McDonald’s. I know what McDonald’s is I know what type of service to expect. This McDonald’s is HORRID. First of all no matter how obscure someone’s order is… You don’t actually laugh at them. The reason we order the cheeseburger meal without cheese is because if we don’t you screw it up and don’t actually make it a meal. So I got laughed at… Asked what kind of drink I wanted with the meal at least 5 times and still had to make a correction cause you hadn’t made it a meal or given me a coke. Pretty sure this guy was stoned. Every time I go here my food is not right human error is acceptable it happens but not with a simple order like 20 times.

Love, love, love the 3 flavors of all fruit smoothies. Hope they dont ever tske them off the menu and keep adding(used to be just 2)! The only other healthy thing i like there is their yummy yogurt parfait. I love lots of others but im 8 lbs from my hs & college weight and have to be good right now. So thank goodness they have yummy and healthy on the menu too!

This review is for the late night drive through. I thought the service was friendly and quick and I have always had fresh tasting on the go meals here right before I go to work. I especially found they make a pretty mean ice latte. It will keep you wound up most definitely. Too bad my drivers side window is broken, so I won’t be driving to any fast food stop for a while. Ah the luxuries we take for granted.

O.K. O.K. to my vegan friends I go to McDonalds sometimes the Big Mac is the bomb of fast food sandwiches really a comfort food in some ways and usually very fresh at this location. However on at least 5 occasions I pulled away from the drive through window only to discover that my fries, straws, various sandwiches, napkins, ketchup was not in the bag as paid for and requested. Sorry but no go. Always check you’re bag here before leaving or your feediing the help. Not that there is anytthing wrong with that:) Other reviews here are probably McDonalds employees not me. Oh yeah do not pull up to the drive in window on a bike and request service you will be denied unless your bike has a motor on it. I tried baseball cards in my spokes this summer but no go. Insurance excuses of course. Also no bike racks and do not be late for breakfast or early for lunch. No forgiveness on having it your way. Besides the sodium alone will kill you.

This is a 5 based on a McDonald’s scale. This is the best McDonald’s I’ve had in the Seattle area. Their Big Mac was fresh and, most importantly, the bun was soft. The fries were fresh, too.
