Great selection of just about anything and everything you could dream of finding in a card store/gift store. Prices are higher, but I try to frequent stand– alone local independent shops whenever possible. My mom and I have come here for years. Usually, two nice women help us and are just amazing at finding whatever you might need or want. However, I recently went into the store and met Scott(?), a younger male who said, «he only works nights». I have never met someone who hates his job as much as Scott obviously seems to. Although he was never rude or disruptive, missive, he might qualify for the title of, «Kirkland’s dourest resident and least motivated salesperson». I attempted to be react to him by being even more complimentary and bubbly than is the norm for me, just to see if it might rub off on him. However, my excitement and interest in the store’s various goods, still left Scott completely disinterested and semi-annoyed at both myself and the other customer in the store. Because it is a small local store, this Hallmark isnt exactly filled with customers and I would think(out of sheer boredom, if nothing else,). Scott would want to help out and maybe share a few words of conversation .SMH!

Nice, clean location. Friendly staff that didn’t hover. It’s what I expect from a Hallmark and I’m glad I was able to find cards I needed to fit the occasion. A-Ok!

Scenario– last min. gift for friend en route to party. Found what I needed in the clutch. Hallmark has the best cards & cutest gift bags. Aside from that there are dozen of things you don’t need, including miniature ornaments. *Look for* some really great picture albums and frame choices. Better then Target, easier to get in/out of. Don’t expect deals or discounts though.
