Tim has owned and operated Lakeside Collision — Kirkland since 1980, where it has grown to be one of the largest and most respected collision repair facilities on the Eastside.

His commitment to continual investment in current technology and equipment and training has helped Lakeside Kirkland remain a leader in the industry.

Service is prompt. Location is excellent. Prices appear competitive and this business even offers a guarantee.
The owner /​manager was very sensitive to my needs and answered all of my questions.
No one wishes to have their vehicle end up in an auto collision business for repairs but I feel in good hands here. If I am ever in the position (again) and need auto body repairs I will definitely use this place again.
Oh. They offer a comfortable waiting area (big TV), very friendly staff and this business is right across the street from Enterprise Rental cars (just in case).
They will also help with drop off and pick up. Thank you again for everything!

Just hours after some A-​hole smashed my car window and stole some belongings, I came here for help. I was clearly shaken up and still fighting back tears. In the middle of taking my information, the guy was insensitive enough to interrupt and order one of his shop guys to come out and pressure wash HIS car, because it was looking a little grungy… I’m distraught, my car is riddled with shattered glass, getting rained in, and he’s more preoccupied with getting his car washed.
It was a Friday morning, he quoted me $ 400, and told me he couldn’t get me the window till Monday. I told him I couldn’t wait that long, and that I’d give a quick call to Klein Honda of Everett (where I purchased the car). He abruptly told me he already searched through Klein Honda of Lynnwood, and «they search everywhere», as if to tell me I couldn’t get it sooner anywhere else. I called anyway, and sure enough Everett Klein Honda had the window in by 2pm that same day.
Lastly, the window retails for $ 75 (verified on Ebay), but this shop had it marked up to $ 276 (a 350%+ markup).
Other than that, they were nice.

I love the people here! I’ve utilized Lakeside Collision twice. The first time was a referral. While it took a while for the other party’s insurance, they took care of me with no issues in a timely manner. The second time around my car ended up being a total loss but I felt better about the process because of the awesome customer service! They were always there when I had questions, when I felt frustrated with my insurance, and everything in between. Not only are they experienced in dealing with insurance, they treat you with kindness and respect. I love talking to Emily. She is awesome! A big thanks to you, Jackson, and everyone!

They are very rude on the phone! they have no idea what they are doing. They pass you to person to person, and they just keeping getting more rude. Tell me that im wasting your time. I guess you don’t want my money. And that’s fine to me. DONT GO HERE

I’m not really sure what some of the negative reviews are about, this place is just great. I got into a wreck and my new Civic was damaged. They quoted me the amount for insurance to pay and kept communication open with what was going on with the car. They told me about two weeks to work on it, but it was done in about half a week. Everyone was super friendly and when I got my car back it was not only in tip top shape, but it was freshly washed inside and out. Great place and super conveniently located across the street from an awesome Enterprise rental place.

WARNING! WARNING! IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE YOUR CAR AGAIN, STEER CLEAR!
I got in a minor accident in a 2009 BMW M3 — I was going 10 mph, and did a considerable amount of damage for a collision at this speed. The damage, I don’t dispute. My insurance will cover it.
I have called every week to check on the progress for the last TWO MONTHS. They don’t have an estimated date of completion — TWO MONTHS IN.
This is not a rare or unusual car, this is a sports car built on the most common BMW. Sure, it has some unique parts; unique with the other 100k+ E92 M3s in the United States.
I’ve pleasantly gotten to hear a different excuse every week as to why they haven’t even touched my car. One week it was parts. The next week they told me I would have it back in a week, the next week they told me it would be at least a month. Depends who you talk to. I believe they just make it up.
I’m not an impatient person. I can’t afford a rental car for 2 months. I didn’t have rental coverage, and Lakeside Collision has done nothing to assist in any way shape or form. Geico isn’t interested in helping, and everyone has a «not my problem» kind of attitude.
Regardless of the quality of the repairs, which I haven’t seen, their customer service is awful. They are very nice people — I’m not saying they aren’t. They can’t keep their story straight. I tried to get them to just let me take it somewhere else, and somewhere between Geico and Lakeside «it’s just not possible unless you want to pay out of pocket.»
Given the chance to do it over again — I would take this back 1000 times and take it to any other shop on the planet.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

Just writing this to inform customer. Take pictures, whatever you need to document everything, so you don’t go thru what I’ve been.
I have been to this places a couple times to get a car that I had fixed, never had any problem, but never look for it because I trusted them, but this last time it was very bad experience, somebody hit my driver door while it was open and the door couldn’t close properly, I took the car to lakeside collision and they gave me an estimate for just over $ 1500, they had the car for about a week, when I came to pick it up, I had a bill to over $ 1900 and the job was not done well, I still had problem closing the door and the worst, I found a couple scratch on the paint, and for one of them, they try to cover it up with a touch up.
I called them to let me know, and they asked me to bring the car back, they had the car for 4 more days, I went back to pick up the car, the door was better, not perfect, all the scratch I told them about had not been touched.

After a collision, the last thing you want to deal with is more unexpected expenses. Lakeside Collision went above and beyond the call of duty and provided excellent customer service to me. My car had $ 16,000 in damage and required numerous new parts to be ordered. The vendor took weeks to deliver these parts to Lakeside Collision, meanwhile my rental limit was nearing it’s end at 30 days. This meant I’d no longer have a rental car covered under my Geico insurance. Lakeside Collision offered to split the cost with the vendor and Geico to cover my extension, for which I am truly grateful and wanted to express my gratitude. Thank you so very much!!!

It’s been like what? 4 years already and you just replied???
Well, guess what, I took great care of my car. Never once I put a LONG DEEP scratch on my leather seat. Perhaps you were looking at soft-​wrinkle scratches that were there, after all, it’s a leather seat. Wrinkles are normal.
Tell me one reason why I should have gone back to you when the results were bad. Sorry but I would rather take it somewhere else than asking you to fix what you were supposed to prevent from happening in the first place.
Oh and, the bubbles cracked. Look around, I guess, I’m not the only one.

If I could give Lakeside Collision zero stars, I would gladly do so. The car was taken here because it is a Geico express location and that I am a Geico customer.
First, they actually caused more damage to our vehicle by breaking the housing of the driver-​side mirror and gave the car back to us with the broken mirror without telling us. Once I got on the freeway, it was obvious that the mirror was nearly ready to fall off. I can understand mistakes and accidents happen, but there is no way that the person who caused the damage can do so unknowingly. The fact that they still send the car back to us with such damage is very unprofessional.
More importantly, they failed to diagnose damage done to the wheel bearing caused by the accident. We took the car to the dealership for inspection because there’s unusual noise and vibration after we got it back from Lakeside. We had the dealership replace the wheel bearing. But it is incredibly irresponsible of Lakeside to not catch that. Our accident was a side impact to the wheels which was jammed against the curb. All parts of the wheels should have been closely inspected. To leave people with damaged wheel bearing put people’s life at serious risk. This is a «how do you sleep at night» type question.
Do not take your vehicles to Lakeside!

Be wary of this place. Yes, the service is nice, but I cannot say the same about the actual car repair. First lets start with the estimate. Estimated at one price, and the repair turning into thousands more. Now, normally I wouldn’t be complaining… this is perfectly normal…(IF they actually did the work that was described on the breakdown sheet.)
Much of the cost came from «labor» of removing and reinstalling parts for a paint repair. Here’s what actually happened:
1. Clear-​coat sprayed all over my passenger window, causing a foggy-​like appearance. It took me 2 hours of scrubbing with acetone to remove this.
2. Clear-​coat sprayed inside the car. Likewise, more scrubbing with acetone.
3. The areas which were repaired have streaks of unsightly clear-​coat that presents itself in a foggy-​like appearance. This unfortunately is irreparable without completely stripping down the paint.
4. Clear-​coat sprayed on headlights. (

This leads me to believe that they, in fact, did not remove anything at all, but merely covered it with some tape and paper. Something which clearly failed to prevent anything.
Very unprofessional paint job. With how bad it looks, it indicates they focus more on throughput and not actual quality. If you care about your car paint, think twice.

I have had my truck repaired at this shop twice, and my car once.
The personal service is great. The staff are always polite and responsive to concerns, questions and also seem willing to elaborate on details.
The final results on every repair has been great. As if the auto accidents never happened. The only exceptions were shop details which had to be followed up on — at no charge. I will provide those details in a moment.
The shop has a Geico representative on hand. Therefore if you have this insurance company it will provide an added convenience for you. However my friend hit my truck and we also had no problem with State Farm either. Although they do not have a representative.
Most estimates for repair were fairly accurate as were the estimates on how long it takes to conduct the repairs.
The first time I took my car there was almost four to five years ago when someone hit the car from the side. They repaired the gold paint, side panels and did a fine job on the body work. The only shop mistake was that they forgot to put on the new rim which was in the trunk. I brought this to their attention and it was immediately taken care of. The body work made it look as if the accident never occurred.
The second time I took my pickup truck there for a total replacement of the rear fender, and replacement of the tailgate as well as bumper replacement. They replaced all of this, matched the paint and had it done fairly quick. The only shop problem was that they forgot to replace the pinstripe on the side of the truck. Once again this was taken care of immediately when brought to their attention. The truck was as if the accident never happened.
The third time I took my truck there was earlier this year. They replaced the rear fender and had everything done quickly. Just like new.
I will continue taking my vehicles there because it is fairly close, the work is good and there is good customer service. I am willing to overlook the small errors which are mentioned above because all of the cosmetic work in other ways was top notch.

Well, I didn’t actually get any real work done here but I showed up to get an estimate on some minor damage and this place impressed the hell out of me with their response.
First, I had a rock chip in my hood. The tech recommended I just get some paint from the dealership and fill it myself because it was very minor.
Then, I had some white scrapes going down the left side of my car from a hard fought battle I had with the garage (the garage won). Since there was no significant body damage the tech brought out some magical solution (I suspect elves made it) and he applied to a rag and buffed off those paint marks for me FOR FREE!!! Like freaking MAGIC!!! Bam, and my car looks so much better!
I can promise this (and with my driving skill it won’t be long): if I ever do have an accident or major damage I will be coming back here. Their honest attitude and helpfulness won me over. Thank you, Lakeside!

I needed a new door on my brand new Prius (not something I want to get into) and Geico sent Lakeside to my rescue. They completed the work a day ahead of schedule and made my car look like it was never injured! I’d was worried that the paint on my new door would not match but seriously, you can’t tell the difference even in sunlight.
Lakeside used OEM parts from the manufacturer for my repairs. They also have a lifetime guarantee on their work as long as I own the car, so I can sleep easy knowing that I can always bring the car back if something’s off a year or two from now.
It’s conveniently located across the street from Enterprise, and I was able to get into my rental within 20 minutes after dropping my car off.

Lakeside Collision in Kirkland was a pleasure to do business with after being recommended by Toyota of Kirkland. I don’t think one ever wants to do business with a body shop, but if one has an experience where one is needed… Lakeside in Kirkland is a wonderful choice.
It is nice that Enterprise is right across the street and their employee Phil is a good listener and wants to do the right thing. Phil kept me updated and emailed me any information that I requested. The folks at Lakeside worked with the insurance company covering the charges and it did not seem to take very many days to fix my Toyota.
The repairs were done well and I can’t tell that there was ever damage on my vehicle. I suppose that’s how it should be.
I’ve already recommended a neighbor to have his Volkswagen repair there.

Their estimation for repair time was not so good. I rented a replacement car for a couple of days, and ended up renting it for a whole week. While they are geico affiliated, but it was not convenient at all.
