Kirkland iRepair

They replaced my screen on the iphone 6 and it caused on error 53 when I attempted to update the iOS. This is a know problem with any hardware repair by an unauthorized apple shop. They never told me this could happen. I had apple look at my phone and was forced to purchase a brand new one. AVOID!

IF you have ANY issues with an Apple product. This is absolutely not just the best place to take your device, it really should be the ONLY option, it really is a no-​brainier.
They are FANTASTIC and rugs is why.
First off, their prices for the items they sell and services are not just reasonable, they are the best. I have found that on average, they are at least around 10−20% less than your typical Joe Shmo place down the street. Usually whenever a place like this can charge lower prices, it is because they use discount parts that are very low-​quality. However, the parts used at iRepair are of absolutely the highest quality. They literally use the SAME parts ordered from the same factory that Apple would use if they were to refurbish an item. The only thing the part (s) may lack is an Apple seal/​logo which is simply standard procedure as it’s against protocol anyway.
Westin, the owner is very kind and very considerate. He knows exactly what he’s doing and can answer any of my questions. He strives to get everything correct the first time and I have benefited from this firsthand every single time I’ve needed to come in.
To just say I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone would be an understatement. Thank you iRepair for being so great!

I think the only «pure guess» here is your English and what you are attempting to communicate here?
Here is what a little birdie told me: (actually I was fortunate enough/​maybe unfortunate? to witness it all)
The reason you knew that you even had «to guess» was because the owner told you that there were no guarantees, as a matter of fact it was him who disclosed this to you from the beginning, not even including the part where you were told that the labor would be done complementary if their work did not resolve the issue. Any other normal place would have still charged you for not just the labor but definitely the part as well. Therefore, since the part that was ordered was not able to be sent back, you had to pay for it. Once, again, super cool of the place to not charge you for labor.
So as much as it sucks that your problem wasn’t resolved for you specifically, let’s please be careful and not create new problems by misguiding fine folks in our Unilocalosphere and giving them the wrong idea/​information especially about an iPhone repair shop that does nothing but provide extraordinary service and sells the highest quality components possible.
You are hereby corrected all while the community here is henceforth, informed all the better.

My iPhone 6+ stopped charging this morning after I spilled a small amount of water on it last night. Apple Store couldn’t get me in until Monday. Decided to try Kirkland iRepair and am glad I did! Corey and Westin opened up my phone tried a new charger component, which worked. He then tried the one that was already in my phone and it started working again — I guess it just needed the right touch! They didn’t even charge me for the time. I hope I don’t have iPhone issues again but if I do I’ll come right back here first.

Love this repair shop and staff. Helped me out with a bad battery. Friendly, professional, patient. Great shop!!!

Westin is a saint! I emailed him early in the morning to report that I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet last night. He emailed me back with suggestions and then I called him back to see about coming in. I drove straight there and within 15 minutes he had taken my phone apart, blew out the water and I was on my way. Only charged me $ 20.

all I can say is that these guys SUCK! RUN and find another place to fix your gadgets! Don’t believe the 90 day warranty. Also if they’re wanting you to pay for a part that they don’t already have especially for Apple in their store don’t pay (their store is name I repair for Apple right??)They can replace parts but if your gadget ends up not working After parts being replaced you won’t get your money back for the parts you had to pay for them to order. It’ll be a total loss. i should’ve read the review about the guy making sure he won’t pay for any of the parts ordered if his wife’s laptop won’t work with parts being replaced. I know he missed out on $ 50 for labor but I missed out on cost of labor plus parts :/

I lost out $ 220. Don’t believe in the 90 day 100% guarantee you won’t get a dime back. They had to order a special part for my phone which took about 4 days. On my way home from work picked up my phone tested it out in the store and seemed to be working. on my way home my phone completely shuts off and stopped working. I called the place right away no answer left a voicemail came in the next day They said there is nothing they can do sorry. No refund. Now I’m stuck with a IEP of $ 400 plus just lost out on $ 220 from these scam artists. Should’ve done my research but was desperate for a new phone. They didn’t FIX my phone!!!

Best service, ever!!! I would highly recommend. I stopped by in a last ditch attempt to salvage my iPhone (Apple said I need an entirely new phone and all my photos were lost). iRepair replaced the display on my phone in less than 10 minutes. The owner was incredibly friendly. I will start here first next time! HIGHLY recommend.

Would have been 5 stars for the great service by the young kid working there that took care of me and offered me a discount. Then I got ONE STAR service from the OWNER that came in as he was finishing up and completely ruined the experience. The kid (who is leaving for college soon leaving this place in the hands of the DB owner with no business sense at all) was very nice and offered me a discount on accessories with the purchase of a new screen/​display for my iPhone. I thought that was great and took him up on the offer. Then the DB owner walked in and the kid asked if it was ok and he said, «uhh no, I can’t do that but ill do it for $ 5 more» with his hat on and didn’t even make eye contact. Then I asked him about also brining in my mac to have some work done, with the promise of more business. I then asked about their online promise to «beat any competitor by 10%.» He said «sure» sarcastically and that he would give me the $ 1 off to match the price. Now I was pissed so I said, «that’s not BEATING IT BY 10%.» So I said I want the 10% and the deal on the accessory. He wouldn’t pick his head up from his iPad and said «yeah, fine» like a toddler that wasn’t allowed to get his ice cream. I went from being very impressed and wanting to come in for more business to swearing never to return over $ 5. FIVE DOLLARS! Not a sound business mind. To the kid that helped me out, «Good luck at BYU, you’re going somewhere, unlike your DB boss.»

I came to this place based on good reviews and convenient location.
My wife’s laptop was damaged by water and battery stopped charging when plugged in.
First of all they didn’t have a charger for my macbook air and it was a bit hard to reproduce the issue but finally they’ve figured out what was wrong and guessed that it’s the problem with some module that can be replaced for 125 $. I was uncertain that it will actually fix the problem because there was no diagnostics done and it looked like pure guess that’s why I’ve asked them if they guarantee result and that they won’t charge anything from me if it won’t work.
They didn’t have part in stock so they had to order it (+4 days of waiting). Okay. Waited. Then it appeared that part that arrived was for different mac model. Another delay here. Then finally when part was replaced it didn’t fix original issue but I was charged $ 50 for labor despite that we’ve agreed initially that no results=no payment.
In the end I have zero results after 3 visits and 50 $ spent.
Very disappointed.

The owner (Westin, I think?) was working on a few phones when I walked in with my shattered iPhone screen and my 4-​year old son. I set my phone down and asked if he could fix it. He told me he could, and that he could have it done in a few minutes (!).
As we were discussing this, my monkey of a child had climbed up onto the bar stool at the counter and was trying to investigate his projects. I began to discipline him and told him «get down, buddy!», but Westin was very relaxed and kind. He said «Nah, don’t worry– he’s fine.»
It’s nice when a business owner makes you feel like you being in his store is important to him. If, GOD forbid, we have more phone issues, we WILL be back here. Oh, and he’s really handsome for what it’s worth. Ha!
Also– I found parking in a little lot adjacent to the Marina, directly behind/​to the side of iRepair.

I sent a message to Kirkland iRepair to query about cost to change out an iPhone 5 battery; I’d purchased a new battery from
and after reading more comments from people who’d done it themselves, I decided I didn’t want to take a chance on DIY. There ARE potential issues.
Westin promptly replied to my message and said to bring it in, FREE of charge! I called the next day to see if it was a good time to drop by. You can park on the street or in the free (9−5p) Marina parking lot, behind the stores.
In less than 2 minutes it was done!
He spared me a lot of anxiety and potential grief.
He specializes in Apple products and I will recommend him to my friends and you.
*Note: After replacement, if your phone continues searching for service, verify that the date & time have updated then turn off the phone. When you turn it back on it should find your provider.

Great location downtown Kirkland by the water. My older MacBook 2011 screen cracked and replacement had to be ordered. Once it came in was replaced quickly. I would use this store again.

Awesome small business! Walked in expecting to have to pay for parts and repairs, turns out it was just dirt in a connection. Picked it out in under 5 seconds and sent me on my way.
Also much cheaper than the other places I cost compared. Will be back if needed in the future!

My ipad crashed and would not start up. Walked in and I was told that I could reboot it in itunes on my computer. My problem is that I don’t have a compurter, just a tablet. «No problem, I can help you out.» 10 min later I am up and running and for this small service he did not charge me! Now I fully expected to pay so maybe I can pay him back by refering all my friends to go to this great place. Good owner (Westin) and good service. Thank you!!!

Great service, fixed my the outer frame on my iPhone very quickly. Great price and location.

I took my shattered iPhone here for replacement. This place is excellent. The owner did the work himself and was awesome. I took my phone a few other places first. They were telling me it would take hours, and they needed to have my phone unlocked to get inside which was strange.
When I went to iRepair it took 15 – 20 minutes right then and there. No need to get into the phone just fixed the broken hardware glass and screen. Price was about the same as others but the service is tip top. Could not be better service in a very comfortable atmosphere.
Highly recommend this place.

Horrible! Owner was a rude punk little kid who made zero attempt to help. Super green business owner and will be out of business sooner than you can blink. Snake oil salesman and a trap. «People come in here all the time, and I don’t need your business.» Were the words right out of his mouth. I tried to support a local business for a cracked iPhone screen, but you certainly need to find someone derserving of your business first.
Not even deserving of a star!

Totally awesome service — excellent turn around time and a great location to hang out while you are waiting for the repair. The shop is really clean and spacious with a comfy sofa to sit and watch tv as well.
As for his work it is first class and he is a lot more professional with his customer service than some other places I have been to. His prices are excellent and he has a huge stock or product so there is no problem with having to wait for him to get a delivery before he can get the work done.
All in all as much as I don’t want to go here again cos it means my BF has broken his phone again I will return if I have to! I would also recommend this place to anyone who needs repairs or accessories. He even sells refurbished computer equipment which is great to know having two teenagers in the house.
