Immediate Clinic

The short version: this place billed me $ 200 for an exam that lasted less than a minute. I am literally not exaggerating.
I came in for a cough that had overstayed its welcome, and the PA spent less than 30 seconds in the room with me (literally!) before he prescribed me 3 drugs and started to rush out the door. When I tried to ask him questions about the drugs, he got exasperated and told me the pharmacist could answer all my questions. Then he left.
The worst experience I’ve had at a health care facility. Nothing about it was the least bit medical in nature. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Tonight was our first experience with Immediate Clinic in Kirkland. Our daughter got a bad cut on her chin and we were concerned that she might need stitches so we brought her in right away. There was nobody else there so we were seen pretty quickly (about 15 minutes after we arrived and finished filling out a few forms). Everybody was very friendly and made her feel at ease. I appreciate that we didn’t have to wait long to be seen and that they are open at times when our main doctor’s office is closed. We saw Dr. Brooks and he was very patient with us and answered all of our questions.

Very welcoming environment after a raccoon bite. Thao and Art were wonderful when we first arrived and made sure that everything was in order. Dr. Brooks was very professional but also quelled any fears that I may have had by lightening the mood. Erika administered an immunization with such care that I hardly noticed what was happening.
I would absolutely recommend Immediate Clinic of Kirkland for any urgent care needs. This is the place to go, even if it isn’t in your immediate neighborhood.

Unfortunate experience with Matthew unsure of his last name. May of been able to tell you if he 1) introduced himself or 2) was in the room long enough for me to read his name tag.
Came to facility due to cold and swollen eye ((later was told I have a sinus infection)) but was told but Mathew if was a «simple virus and I would get over it» then poof he was gone.
Missed work for days. Never got better. Went else where and was told my true diagnosis.
Called clinic to complain about inadequate professional care and Tao was amazing and friendly. She was also a joy when I was at the clinic. She’s the only reason this place gets a star.

After making a call in the morning for price information, I decided to take my mother here for a tetanus shot (she was overdue and had just endured a bite on her hand). The same quote was reiterated to us when we arrived. Fast forward 90 minutes and I’m holding a bill for an increased price. I ended up getting an itemized version, which depicted a shot administering fee, and a patient discharge fee. Unfortunately, this is consistent with other reviewers who have expressed similar «bait-​n-​switch» scenarios.
Why on Earth would the staff not simply be transparent? Speaking of staff, please come here if you want unenthused and generally disinterested“professionals”, who spend their time behind the front desk playing what looked to be Candy Crush –right– in front of customers who were checking in.

Avoid! — would go elsewhere for your care.

My wife went to this clinic on a Sunday in August to be seen for her hip pain from a fall down a flight of stairs the week earlier, and a fever that appeared that morning.
First, despite the fact that we used the online scheduling and appeared with all of our forms completed and on-​time, and the clinic was 100% empty, we still needed to wait for over 30 minutes to be seen.
A medical assistant took my wife’s complete medical history and her blood pressure, but didn’t take her temperature.
When the doctor came in, before he even examined my wife’s football sized bruise and huge 4 inch swollen hematoma, he declared «Well the first thing we need to do is get you off the Percocet» (pain medication) As my wife was there for pain that wasn’t being controlled by her pain medication, this proclamation hit her as a punch-​to-​the gut. He then went on to say that «you really don’t have a fever, it has to be 102.5?» (At this point they had not yet taken her temperature.) Then the doctor said he wanted to test her for a urinary infection as he’d never heard of a hematoma causing an infection/​fever. My wife knows what her symptoms are for a UTI. She didn’t have any of those symptoms.
We walked out at this point.
So, if you want long-​waits, unneeded tests, and not getting out of pain, this is a fine choice. We will recommend the local emergency room to others. We’ll update this review when we see the bill.
We just got the bill. They had the nerve to bill our insurance $ 230 for this non-​appointment. And it turns out the guy we thought was a doctor was a PA (Physician’s Assistant.) On a positive note, their billing office did waive our $ 40 copay after hearing of the lack of care we received that day.

My first visit here was due to an extremely sore neck and swollen lymph nodes on the left side along with small bumps in my hairline– which came out of nowhere. The doctor diagnosed me with a strained neck. A week later the pain became excruciating and the rash grew– I saw my regular doctor and she confirmed it was SHINGLES (confirmed by test).
That Friday my lymph nodes were so swollen I could barely talk. I had been very strictly on medication management. My work dismissed me mid-​day to go to here because I couldn’t get in with my doctor and they recommended I go to urgent care.
First, the nurse asked why I was there and I said my doctor’s office recommended seeing an urgent care since I couldn’t see my doctor and I had shingles. She laughed and said «yeah you don’t need to go to the ER for that, we can take care of you here».
The PAC came in asked me about the medications I was on. He scoffed at me when I told him I was taking gabapentin for pelvic pain and said that doctors don’t normally prescribe that for pelvic pain. Way to insult the provider who I trust deeply. He then asked why I was there, I was in severe pain from my lymph nodes being swollen and the shingles were excruciating. He looked at my neck and said that there’s nothing they could do there, that my doctor’s office told me incorrect information, and I needed to go to the ER. He also opened up the medicine cabinets and said he doesn’t have pain meds (? what?). He offered to refund the visit charge which I appreciated but to pawn me off to the ER was frustrating. The nurse came in and said he diagnosed me with high blood pressure (also what? I had told them I had high BP at intake…) and that «they were ONLY an urgent care and they can only do what they can do».
I lost 2 hours of work time only to be told to go to the ER to have a CT scan. I couldn’t go to the ER that night because I had to work. My work does not dismiss you even with a doctors note and my position cannot be covered by anyone else.
The next morning I went to the ER. They made me sit in a room without equipment. The doctor prescribed stronger medicine and said he didn’t understand why urgent care referred me to the ER and it was unnecessary. He told me shingles is no joke and extremely painful and your lymph nodes can swell because they’re «angry» with your body trying to fight everything.
I don’t appreciate being treated the way I was treated and it was an absolute waste of my time and the ER doctor’s time. I also don’t appreciate the way I was spoken to by the nurse. It says on your website that you treat rashes, infections, and other illnesses
so it is very frustrating to be told to go to the ER just to be turned around again.
Thankfully the ER did help me get through to my next appointment with my doctor. Who has been helping me weekly get better.
End of story: don’t come here if you think you have shingles, go to the ER.

I’m super happy with the care I received at this location. I had a terrible cold/​sinus infection and wasn’t able to make an appointment with my primary care physician so I decided to check out this clinic. They took my insurance with no problem and I was able to make an appointment online which is awesome. When I arrived there was a very upset/​sick child ahead of me. The entire staff was so sweet to this little boy — I knew he was in good hands. My wait time wasn’t bad at all — I left with some medicine that did the trick and I was back to work the next day feeling 100% better. I highly recommend this clinic.

Wait time was over 2 hours for a SCHEDULED appointment. Ridiculous! Doctor appeared to care less and was inattentive. They did not have the proper «tool» to remove the staples that they put in 12 days earlier. What a joke! Will not return to this place.

Our son was sick and in a lot of pain — everyone did an excellent job. The doctor’s explanations were easy to understand he seemed genuinely concerned. Nurses and staff were great as well. Even gave our son a (sugar free) lollipop at the end.
A few days later they called my wife to check up on our son. Very much appreciated.
Would have given five stars — but the wait time seemed unnecessarily long for so few people in the clinic at the moment. Wish the whole check in process could have been faster.

Avoid this clinic like the plague! I have never had such a horrible experience in my whole life, and I’ve been to a lot of clinics worldwide.
First, they overcharged me for copay (they charged me 5 times more, which is what you would pay the emergency room, not an urgent care center). I explained to the receptionist it is a mistake and I asked him to call my insurance, which of course he did not. Being too sick I did not want to argue much that day.
Then a PAC sees me (doctor’s assistant), spends barely 2 minutes with me, and while I explained what is wrong with me on the form I filled for 20 minutes before getting in, the PAC read NONE OF IT. He barely asks me a couple questions then tells me to see my family doctor and that he cannot help me because he cannot. I had to drive to my doctor (driving was very hard for me) that day to get real help.
Later I find out they billed my insurance $ 300, which is double what my family doctor bills.
In short, this place is a rip-​off and is not worth the dirt it was built on. They extended my suffering, without offering relief and did not even pretend to listen to my concerns. I formally contacted them to get my copay money back and if I do not receive it soon I will be taking further action…
I never remember anyone smiling there either. It felt more like a morgue than a medical clinic. It seemed like all staff there hated their job (I have been there more than once, to drive friends there prior to me being seen as a patient)

Check in process was quick and efficient, and Dr. Brooks provided me with excellent advice and had a kind, patient, and empathetic yet professional demeanor. I hope to be able to work with him should I ever need to return to this clinic!

I was then assisted by Aaron (medical assistant) who was friendly and helpful. I then saw Dr Shane Brooks who was friendly and knowledgable.

The service provided here is very poor. Cold receptionist to uninterested dr. The wait time was ridiculously long even though there was no other patient in front. Waited in the front for half an hour and more waiting after we saw the Dr. Total visit took more than an hour and only about a couple of minutes of actually seeing the Dr and getting an Xray done. No one really keep you informed about what’s going on. Definitely not coming back

Unfriendly receptionists and surprisingly SLOW service for an «urgent care clinic» (especially since the place was totally empty)… Lots of annoying paperwork to fill out before they even let you in to see the nurse (even though this was not my first visit and they already had all my information in their system). The doctor was okay but kind of indifferent and not very good with children — didn’t really make an effort to approach my sick 3 year old daughter (and got her name wrong like 5 times, which didn’t really help). After he stepped out, it took him quite some time to summarize the visit in his computer and we ended up waiting a good long while in the examination room for that final report, until we all lost our patience and decided to just go.
The only good thing about that visit was the quick answer we got from the strep A kit they used (but that’s about it).
The truth is I didn’t really like anything about that clinic and the fact that we had to pay 75 $ each (as copay) for this «special urgent service» makes me pretty sure we will not be returning in the future. Oh well…

I was greeted by Jen at the front desk promptly, and she got me to a Dr. quickly. Dr. Matt was personable and patient and explained options to me, we made what I felt was the best decision together; easy, efficient, right on 100^th, great location, why go anywhere else?!

The check in a little awkward. The doctor made up for it. Dr Diller made quick accurate choices on my severe abdominal pain. She diagnosed the possibility of 3 different possibilities. Ordered a cat scan and that evening called me with the results. I was at the pharmacy 15 minutes later picking up my medication. I tried Google to look up abdominal pain, way too many things it could be. Thanks Doc!

I went in on a Monday to get tested for a UTI. Test came back negative but they sent it out for a culture because I was pretty positive I had one. I hadn’t had heard back from them (now Friday) so I called in to check because by now I was peeing blood. They informed that yes, the culture had come back positive for the UTI, so I’m glad I made that phone call. The guy said he’d call in the prescription immediately and that I could pick it up in an hour. I called bartells about 45 minutes after my initial call, and the woman in the pharmacy said she had just gotten off the phone with the doctor one minute before I called. Completely unprofessional.

I asked the price of the 4 exams they wanted to do and the ladies got really mad at me. As if I don’t have the right to know that. Especially Amanda from the front desk. The lady that does the blood work (Ashley) was very rude and interrupting me as I was asking why she couldn’t give me the prices. In the past we got a high bill from another clinic of $ 15,000 that’s the reason I decided to ask for the prices ahead of time.
The physician assistant Jon was very good, knowledgeable, polite and caring.
But the ladies very passive agressive, rude and made us feel really unconfortable. I really don’t like that they were offensive to us making a nice voice as if that voice was going to mask what they just said.

I went here for the first time today and the service was great. They got me in pretty fast considering I didn’t make an appointment before hand. Everyone was very nice and helpful. (And the doctor was cute!)
It was everything I need in a walk-​in clinic. They made everything easy and I was able to go on my lunch break.
