History
Established in 1944.
Charlie Erickson began Erickson Laboratories in May 1944. He was an optician who began fitting glass contact lenses, then started to look into glass artificial eyes. When the war broke out, the glass used to blow lenses was not available and he looked for a new material. In dentistry, they began using acrylic, which was a very good material for lenses and artificial eyes. Charlie passed his business on to his son Gerald and daughter-in-law Christie. In 1997, the office was split into two locations and Christie opened her current office in Kirkland, Erickson Labs Northwest.
