Perfect, perfect, perfect! I required a head/​auditory MRI and decided on CDI in Kirkland because they had an open MRI machine. I am extremely claustrophobic. I am surprised by the comment about staff because I found them all to be totally understanding and professional. I was given liquid valium to calm me and Bill, who actually performed the procedure was amazing, giving me words of encouragement as the MRI was taking place which was important to me. I would definitely recommend CDI to anyone.

Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They were happy to explain anything and answered my questions. You can also sign up at the front desk to see your results online at their patient portal.
It was easy to schedule an apportionment over the phone. I was told to arrive 30min early, which was needed to fill out the paperwork. I was seen on time and they even provided me a wheelchair. I felt as though the staff genuinely cared about me having a good experience. They made 40min inside a loud, pounding MRI as comfortable as possible with satellite radio of my choice.
I did see someone try to come in for a walk-​in and they were all booked up for they day but it did seem like they do take them if available. I would always recommend calling places like this before hand. When scheduling I was told you can be put on the wait list to get called if anything opens up sooner.

First, the medical and imaging staff here are great.
But what drags this place down is the scheduling and office staff. They are rude in the extreme – the absolute most unprofessional, rude, unkind, and unpleasant office staff I have ever seen in any medical group or facility anywhere. I have dealt with them a few times, and they are always haughty, condescending, arrogant, petty, unaccommodating, and pretty much just plain mean. I have even seen them act this way towards other medical professionals over the phone. They suck in the worst possible way. So much so that I will never return here again and will insist that my health care providers send me elsewhere if I need an imaging test. Yes, they are that bad. And they know it but they don’t care. Avoid this place like the plague, unless and until the medical staff cleans house and replaces the entire office staff.

Everyone I interacted with at CDI was absolutely wonderful from the moment I walked in. They were helpful, respectful, and kind. They all seemed to have a sense of humor which I found refreshing. I felt comfortable and at ease during my entire visit. My only complaint is that there were so many forms to fill out by hand. I have a difficult time writing because my hands cramp up. It would be helpful if the forms were available to be filled out on line, and then printed and signed at home prior to the visit.

I had such a wonderful experience here. I hate MRIs! I’m a bit claustrophobic. But, they have an open MRI machine there and it’s so much easier to deal with.
I was a bit concerned at first because making the appointment was a struggle — the only times available were late afternoon for the next MONTH! I live in the north end — with traffic, I knew it was going to be a nightmare. But, then the scheduler told me there are Saturdays available for MRIs! YES!
So much easier to get to — the parking lot was deserted. I only saw one other patient. The receptionist was nice and friendly. The technician was wonderful! I told him I was claustrophobic (I had a bad MRI experience once) and he was so helpful! He checked on me — told me how much longer it was going to be. There is music to listen to. He was very clear with the instructions and how things worked and when the results would be ready. The whole experience could not have been better. It was so peaceful!
I would definitely ASK to return here!

On a Monday, while waiting for my MRI, I asked the unfriendly front desk person to reverify that the results of my test would be available for my Dr to read in time for Wed morning’s appointment. I was reassured, however cooly, that they would be. I was later handed a cd to take with me but it turns out the actual analysis by the CDI expert was not available for my Dr to review on Wed AM as promised. My doc was not pleased and obviously neither was I. I hopefully will be referred somewhere else for any additional tests. (I would like to complement Tom who administerd the test in such a friendly and professional way — Proof that those 2 things can go together!)

My Doctor requested a Cat Scan/​mylogram today. CDI was able to get me in today which will speed up diagnosis time with my surgeon. Since I am in considerable pain, I really appreciated getting this one so quickly. Everyone from the receptionist to the Radiologist was amazing. I really appreciated the concern and care they showed towards me. They were professional and didn’t rush the procedure. They understood the limitations I was under with the pain.

The staff and radiologist were really friendly and made me very comfortable during the MRI that I kept nodding off. :)

My daughter had to go for X-​rays and then a MRI. Staff were all fabulous. They explained what was happening at every stage and she felt very comfortable there. Front office staff were friendly and welcoming. Easy to schedule appointment and at a time that suited us. While having her MRI the tech was explaining everything that would be happening to my daughter as she was nervous — she has never had a MRI before. Great service, would recommend.

I had to go for an ultrasound of a rather *ahem* personal area as part of a possible cancer screening. I was slightly freaked out despite the fact that the possibility was low.
When I got there, the front desk staff was very cold. They were efficient and explained/​handled my paperwork well, but I got a feeling like I was inconveniencing them for some reason.
But everything turned around when the ultrasound technician came to get me. She was warm and knowledgeable, making sure I understood everything she was going to do. The bed she put me on was very comfortable. She brought back the radiologist who was equally kind and explained everything he saw in my ultrasound.
All-​in-​all, I’d recommend CDI. They’re very quick: most patients were only with the technicians for 10 minutes (mine took half an hour due to double checking, which I was fine with. Better safe than sorry!). They’re also right next to the bus stop, which is convenient if you don’t have a car.

I got injured while hiking on July 1^st and was told by my doctors to rest/​stay off my knee for 4 – 6 weeks. Yesterday I was told that the insurance wouldn’t cover an MRI because I needed an x-​ray first. So yesterday my doctor sent me to CDI for an x-​ray at 3:30 p.m. and the friendly receptionist Sara informed me they had a 5 p.m. for a walk-​in appointment or they could schedule something for me in the near future. I chose the 10 a.m. appointment this morning. She explained there would be a few forms to fill out and then they could get me to the x-​ray. This morning when I got there I was greeted promptly by two other receptionists. The waiting area is comfortable and has plenty of seating. The parking lot has a lot of parking but this morning was particularly packed. For someone who is injured I didn’t have to walk far, and they had a ramp up so I could avoid the stairs. All the paperwork was clearly explained to me by the receptionist and checked when I turned it all back in a few minutes later. I got there at 9:50 a.m. for my 10 a.m. appointment. I waited just a short while (about 10-​minutes) and then Brian came out for me. He introduced himself and let me know he would be doing my x-​ray today. He did a short intake, asked me about the injury, and let me know he would be doing three x-​rays. I particularly liked that Brian used my name regularly throughout the appointment and had a calm and soothing demeanor. When we were finished he let me know how long it usually takes to get the results (1 – 2 days) as well as next steps in case I need to come back for MRI, which was my doctor’s original order. All in all, I was very pleased with how I was treated here and to be in and out for something like this in less than 40-​minutes is really good. I’d say you’d do well if you had to come here. Oh, they also had coffee and water available in the waiting area.

Their billing is in shambles. Even when I called ahead and confirmed the cost of $ 800 for a procedure, they went ahead and charged Premera $ 1500 for the same procedure. On calling them, they deny that they ever said that the price was almost half; this after I have the estimate in writing from their reception.
As usual, Premera was no help suggesting the «sort it out with your provider» route. And CDI billing routes to their office in MN where a rude and curt woman answers the phone repeating just the bill amount and refusing to listen to anything at all.
Once bitten, twice shy. Will not be going there anymore. If I want to be price-​gouged, I’d rather go to Overlake Medical Center (read my other review).
