Banner Bank

I knew when I left «the» big bank that I would lose a lot of the convenience that went with using the Bank That is Everywhere, but this is ridiculous: Woodinville has no ATM at all, Kirkland has an ATM that doesn’t take deposits, and Bothell has a REEEEEALLY old fashioned ATM that looks like a computer from the 70s, and it also doesn’t take deposits. I didn’t find a working Banner ATM until I got to Redmond. That one was actually really nice. But by then I had been driving around for 2 hours, and wasted a ton of gas.
Inexcusable in this day and age. I will happily remove this review when you have righted the situation. Please provide fully functioning ATMs at all of your branch locations.

I haven’t opened an account, yet, but I definitely intend to, I went inside the lobby to get a feel for their customer service and was pleasantly surprised, their branch opens early 9am, around here that’s early and suits me fine, because I’m out and about early. I’m currently with BofA probably the WORST bank in America. The branch I banked at closed which left the south part of town on L street, probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I get the feeling if they could spit on their customers and get away with it, they’d do it in a heart beat, if you have a question the tellers make you feel you’re really putting them out. They have no designated teller for drive up business, old 1970’s style automated tube style I prefer a personal touch when I’m keeping my money in a bank. My husband and I both have numerous accounts with BofA, but we’re so disgusted with this branch, we have personal «and» business accounts… the few minutes I spent at Banner Bank was wonderful the tellers were so eager to help and give me information, their drive up is open at 9am NOT 9:30 — 10:00 like Bof A’s it’s right in the north part of town which is «convenient» for my needs. Since I live 10 miles north of town, we usually stay up closer to the north end for our appointments.

I have been doing business with Banner Bank since 1992. Primarily with business checking accounts, but also some personal accounts and a business line of credit.
I was a Banker in a past life and really appreciate the personal touch that the folks at Banner provide.

This bank makes you feel like you are their only customer! Antonio is the best and Dave and staff are all very good for sure! Big enough to take care of your issues, simple or complex, small enough to care. Great local bank if you live in Kirkland, go here!

Don’t Waste Your Time
Banner bank sends out advertisments to people’s homes offering money to open an account. $ 75. is quite a chunk so my guess is they are in need of business. I applied online & was turned down. really? for a basic no fee no frills no nothing checking account that I was going to open with my own money… wow. If there are special requirements such as, must have excellent credit, be employed and not disabled then they should state it clearly in big bold letters at the top of their advertisments. I put that I was disabled & they do not have a section or anywhere to click on for that leading me to believe this bank does not cater to the disabled. I have never been denied a checking account with any bank and I have banked with Charles Schwab, BOA, Washington Mutual & Washington Trust. Much bigger corporations than Banner bank. I can see why they do not have good customer service nor do they have very many customers. I live accross the street from both Banner bank & two other leading banks. Banner’s parking lot is always empty & I never see anyone inside. In fact, that is why I did not initally apply there when we moved to this state because they always looked closed. Well, I believe they also discriminate on who they want in their banks. Only stepford wives allowed perfect in every way. If not, move on.

Dave and company have a great thing going. They are our company bank and as a neighbor in the downtown area could not ask for more. A great greeting when you go in and the feeling of a real small town bank. They do a fantastic job in their bank and do wonderful things in the community. Keep up the great job!

After being at Wells for 10+ years, we are now home at Banner for the last 2 – 3 years — personally and in business. Thank You Joan, Barb and Dave. You guys are great. Keep it up – the best banking relationship ever !!

All of the staff at the Kirkland branch is so friendly and helpful. I’ve been extremely happy with my service that they provide! I’ve referred a few of my friends, and they’ve been very pleased

We love the staff and their candy and our dog loves he gets a treat too.

You can’t buy a house without a loan. And Banner Bank helped us get a great loan.
Bruce Brinton came recommended from friends, so we started there. He was kind enough to come out to our place and basically gave us mortgage 101 with complete honesty.
We looked at a couple of other mortgage officers but Banner Bank gave us the best deal. Bruce was able to get us an amazing loan and rate in an unstable market.
The only reason I didn’t give him a 5 star review is that there were a few occasions where he either didn’t call back or wasn’t available. He had good reasons for it of course, but it was frustrating. Especially when it’s your first house.
But overall, he did a great job explaining everything and trying hard to get us the best service. And that’s what really counts.
