I have lived ascent apartment over a year. They raised my rent around $ 130 when I renewed my lease. The maintenance team is awesome and they are always very friendly. They come and fix your problem quickly after you put work order. (They call or leave a message is very nice.)
The biggest complaint is the office staff. They are very RUDE! I went to pick up my package the other day, and this lady didn’t even say a word when I came in. I was trying to be nice and was keeping smile, and all she said was «what?» I told her that I came to pick up my package and she just tossed my package without say anything. She didn’t even ask my unit number, so she gave me a wrong package. I was like «are you serious?»
«Do I need to sign on the sheet that I got my package?» She completely ignored me. What’s wrong with her? She never remembers my unit number even I’ve been picking up my package frequently. And my name of course.
Office close Sunday, Monday, and they even close office over 2hours during the office hours. Who knows when office is open. The previous manager Elin, she was always kind and nice. She always remembered my name and unit number since the day I moved in. I really miss her. I miss the way she cared tenants.
I have never seen our new manager. There are two different people with rude attitude works at office is manager assistants. I complained corporate office several times about their rude staff, but seems like it hasn’t been any changes. Two of my neighbors including me are moving out after our lease is done because of these rude staff and over $ 100 rent raise.
I understand the new policy, but why we have to be treated like this? I feel very unfair. Seems like they care too much building a new dumpster to look property better. They don’t really give a S*** about us.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! The Staff is extremely RUDE!

This complex has gone through some growing pains. The new management company has done a lot of improvements to the outside of the building and the parking lot. The maintenance crew are great and seem to be on top of things. Price of the rental units have gone up quite a bit but the management tells me that it’s because of Amazon and Microsoft people are willing to pay the high prices. What about the rest of us who don’t work there? And you can hear your neighbors so clearly, who needs cable for entertainment?

I don’t live here but I applied for an apartment here. The apartment I applied for was not available to look at so they showed us the model. We applied and we ready to move in, but on the move in day we saw the apartment and the layout was not the same as we were told. We told them we did not want that apartment because it was not what they had promised. The manager played games with us. She lied when we met her and said she needed to check with her manager when she was in fact the manager. We wanted to get our deposit and application fee back because we felt we were deceived. She said she will get back to us and then went ahead and cashed our application fee check. So I tried to her call and to see what happened. When I called her out that she lied to us, she just hung up on me. So it is still ongoing whether we will get our money back… Would not recommend this place to anyone while this manager is around…
