My wife and I went to many furniture stores in Houston looking for a cloth sectional. After looking everywhere we were getting frustrated after not being able to find what we were looking for in our price range. A friend recommended this place, and I was rather skeptical considering it was on the other side of Houston. With no other options we went to SKEROS. We met the owner right when we walked in, nice guy who lead us to a sales person. They don’t work on commission so we never felt pressured. After originally being disappointed because we didn’t see anything we liked, Tim showed us to the custom couch catalogue. I initially thought we wouldn’t be able to afford one of these, but Tim assured us it would be in our budget. My wife got to pick a custom color from over 200colors and she picked custom accent pillow color for free. The sectional was much cheaper than any other place we looked and we got to pick the color. After 3weeks the sectional arrived and it is better than we thought it would be. I highly recommend SKEROS.

Will not buy furniture from anyone except Skeros. No one can give you service like they can. Exceptional experience. They said if I ever find something from another furniture store I like, they will beat the price. Quality folks that I enjoyed doing business with.

I recently bought 2700 dollars worth of furniture from Skero’s. I am a long-​time Kingwood resident who needed furniture for a recent lake house I bought about an hour away. Daron Skero’s sales staff was delightful, and worked hard to get me the best price possible. After some time talking things through I purchased a large sectional, a dinner table, a coffee table, and a sofa table.
The delivery of the furniture to where the lake house is out in the country went off without a breeze. The sofa looked nice in the lake house, though it was a little big. The delivery crew cleaned up their mess and headed off back to Kingwood. I was left there at the lake house to enjoy my new furniture.
Skero’s offers a 48-​hour money-​back guarantee. Meaning, if you don’t like it for any reason, get your money back no questions asked. After thinking about my purchase for 24 hours, I realized that the sofa I had originally bought was too «large» for the room I had it in. Although it was a nice piece of furniture, I wasn’t 100% satisfied and to me if I’m going to spend 2700 bucks I want to be completely satisfied.
So off I went back to Skero’s. It was black Friday. I was fully prepared to pay for Mr. Skero’s crew to drive out to my lake house and pick up the furniture. I was okay with that as long as I got a refund on the difference.
To my surprise Daron Skero himself (the owner) came to me himself and visited with me upon my return visit. He said he would refund my money no problem, but wanted an opportunity to earn my business. He said because it was Black Friday, he was willing to take a loss if that meant keeping me as a customer.
I found a leather sofa and recliner that was amazing quality. Mr. Skero said he’d give me a $ 450 dollar refund, plus the leather sofa and recliner delivered to the lake house (and the other sofa picked up) that same day at no extra cost to me. Geeze… how could I pass that up? $ 450 dollar savings, the owner taking a loss, free same-​day delivery of the new furniture and haul off of the other sofa… all of this at a location that’s an hour away?
I was sold. Mr. Skero and his staff are top-​notch. I’m a reluctant buyer, and have been searching for months not only for furniture, but for people I can trust.
I found them in Skero’s. Highly recommended. They are a great group of people. I will be buying from them again soon.

My son won a gift card to showbiz theaters from skeros and we had to go to the store to pick it up. We were instantly surprised as we walked through the door. From the outside the place looks so small, but when you’re inside you see the nice selection of items that they have. My boys especially loved the parrot that sits by the front of the store. They have extremely reasonable prices on everything and told me they would work on getting us the lowest prices. They can order items that you see in other stores and promise a lower price than their competition.

I cannot speak more highly of this place. I went to the theaters in Kingwood and watched ad after ad before every movie, and for years I told myself I would go check it out. But I never did. Even with the enticing free movie voucher, I still didn’t go. Well, then came the time when I needed a kitchen table, and I had just had the most horrid experience at Ashley Furniture, I decided to go to Skeros and see what they had. They didn’t have a whole lot on site, and a lot of options in my price range, but not what I was looking for. The owner and nearly the entire staff helped me figure out what I wanted and not only was able to order the same exact table set I wanted from Ashley, but deliver locally for free, got me the set with bench, and additional chairs, AND a wood bed frame a fell in love with, for the cost of the table alone at Ashley! I got my free movie voucher, they gave me 0% financing, and they put all of the pieces together. They were so nice and professional. They told me they could get me anything I wanted if I see it in Houston, so now I go scope out what I want from other places, and then order it from Skeros. If the price at Skeros is higher than another store, they’d match the price and take off 10%. Great people, great business that has grown purely on reputation and word of mouth. I would recommend everyone check them out!

We see Skero’s commercials at Showbiz all the time and finally decided to take a look. We’ve been wanting a accent chair or love seat. We saw the owner at Showbiz before we left the theater. We entered store and was greeted right away by owner Daron. He was super friendly and explained how the store works and layout. He told us to go to any furniture store in Houston, come back to his store and he would order it and give you 10% less. He even told us how they started, it seemed like a great family owned business. While we were looking several other people greeted us and we’re very friendly. Levi noticed us looking at a snuggler chair and was very helpful with explaining how it worked and we might could get a different color. We continued looking around and found another snuggler chair we liked. Levi did explain the difference in brand. Miguel even came up and introduced hisself, very friendly. At the end Daron helped us decided on the franklin chair we a great price, we couldn’t refuse. We placed the order at 2pm and it was delivered at 330 pm as promised. I highly recommend Skero’s to anyone who wants to get a great price with great and friendly customer service. Thank you Daron and Levi for such a great experience and free movie tickets!

Great people working there. I know my husband and I were really picky about our dining room table and everyone was super patient and helpful with us. Unlike my other furniture buying experiences, I never felt pressured or like I was being taken advantage of. The prices cannot be beat. Bottom line. Also, the guys who delivered the furniture were prompt, professional, and did a great job. I will be returning there to buy any future pieces.

Furniture selection, purchase, and delivery was AWESOME. From beginning to end, this process was delightful.

It is refreshing to walk into a store where you greeted when you come in, asked if you needed help, and was actually helped by someone who knew what they were selling and informed on differences between brands. They listened to what we were looking for and provided us with multiple options. It’s obvious they work as a team and have pride in their business. Prices were very good and they have a good selection to close from. It’s hard to make furniture shopping a good experience but they did. If you need to buy furniture I heavily recommend walking in to Skeros and look around it will be well worth your time.

I highly recommend skero’s. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his father this past Labor Day and I was happy to find that these are people that care about the community and the people that inhabit it. Before you go to a big name store with a big advertising budget, give skero’s a try. If you don’t find it in the store they will be happy to order it for you.

I strolled in here one day looking for a good bunk bed for my boys and really didn’t expect to find anything. I didn’t see anything in their main showroom so I walked back to the warehouse. A really nice looking piece caught my eye in the back.
This set was way better than what I expected to be able to afford. It even had wood steps instead of a ladder. It was solid dark stained wood with two sets of built-​in drawers. One went under the bottom bed and the other was built within the real wood steps. There was no way this would be in my price range so I refrained from looking at the price tag because I would just get depressed. My wife had basically already picked one out for under $ 300 at Wal-​Blah. When I finally peaked at the price, I couldn’t believe it was marked correctly. I immediately called my wife and told her to get the kids and come down there. When she and the boys saw it, they immediately fell in love with it. It was a lot more than the $ 300 one she had previously chosen but it was a steal in our opinion even after delivery and assembly. We also knew it was going to last well beyond it’s use by our boys because the quality was that good.
This was about a year ago and as a result, whenever we need any new furniture, we check here first. We haven’t always bought from here in the end but we always know that we are going to get honest answers from the sales people and the best possible price they can give us.
