Alspaugh Sterling Events

Alspaugh ACE Hardware store has a hidden gem inside it — Sterling Events!
Discovered this boutique when I was in need of some tools for a home improvement project. I ended up spending a full hour browsing their selection. It’s a little odd that a hardware boutique sells Pandora and Kendra Scott. Also, ¼ of the store is dedicated to Vera Bradley — not my style, but I digress. Honestly, I love stopping by Sterling Events monthly to pick up seasonal decorations or a little gift for myself.
The reason for the 3 stars? The staff is a major hit and miss. Most of the time they are majorly unfriendly (it seems to be an older group of managers working the weeknight/​weekend shift). Occasionally, I’ll get a really nice salesperson but she’ll disappear and never be seen again.

Fantastic selection of gifts for everyone in your life. Also… Ladies night? One of my favorite kingwood events in November. They always put of a great time!

The gifts are great but the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. I decided to go somewhere else like nordstrom or berings.
