Business Owner

After dreaming of owning a business for many years, Mercedes Sidor finally decided that it was time to put her dream into motion, and in September of 2005 she opened The Little Gym of Kingston, NY and turned her dream into a reality! Mercedes has 10+ years of gymnastics experience, both coaching and competing. In college, she competed on The University of Vermont’s Division 1 Diving Team. She received her B.S. degree in Small Business Management in 1993, and she also took continuing education classes in Child Psychology. After 10 years in the corporate world, Mercedes went back to her original love of working with children & gymnastics and started working both at The Little Gym of Scarsdale and The Little Gym of Bedford as Program Director and then Gym Director. When she first discovered The Little Gym, it was a dream come true for her because she had found a business with a philosophy that incorporates everything that she believes in.
