Established in 1996.

Attorney John Hakim has been providing legal services to the Luzerne County community since 1994.

Born and raised in Wilkes-​Barre, Attorney Hakim earned degrees in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Scranton in 1991. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994.

Admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey state Bars in 1994, Attorney Hakim opted not to pursue a practice in New Jersey and to focus on a Pennsylvania practice.

The Law Offices of John Hakim opened on South Street in Wilkes-​Barre in January of 1996.

The practice focused mainly on Criminal Defense work. The practice relocated to Kingston almost 10 years later, in November of 2005.

Attorney Hakim still practices primarily in the area of Criminal Law, but also handles Business Law, Personal Injury (Plaintiff) cases, as well as limited Domestic Law matters.
