Specialties

Next Step Home provides professional support during one of the most difficult times in an adult’s life. Services include the organization, transfer and disposition of personal and household belongings. We assist seniors in the process of moving to a new living situation, including smaller homes, apartments, senior residences or adult care facilities.

We also provide advice and coordination to residents who plan to stay in their present homes, but need to downsize or modify their surroundings to provide a safer and more accommodating living environment.

Colleen M.

Business Owner

Colleen has over 25 years of experience in human services. She is currently president of the Kingston Sunrise Rotary Club and a member of the Ulster County Task Force on Elder Abuse. She has served as treasurer and secretary of Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of New York State and a leadership council member of Project Hope: A Woman to Woman Mentoring Program. She has a B.S. in Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and an associate of applied science degree from Nassau Community College.
