If you go to dagwoods do yourself a favor and order a sandwich. I decided to be healthy today and order a salad and it was a bad decision. Words can’t describe how bad it was from the stale croutons, overcooked dry chicken and yellow broccoli. The highlight was the small white hair I found on a tomato.

Great local restaurant with huge portions for low prices. If I bought a full sub I’d probably die three quarters of the way through eating it(because my stomach would explode from over-eating but at least I’d die happy!). Don’t believe a few bad reviews because people love to complain. Someone can visit a place 20 times and get excellent service and get bad service ONE time, and that’s the visit they’ll write about. I’ve been going here on and off for over ten years and I’ve never been disappointed. Support local businesses!

Really good hamburgers and cheese steaks… a half of a sub is as long as a whole subway. Good flavor but come hungery… this place has large portions. One of the best places in kingston hands down.

Do not go here. Save your money and go to the only real deli in Kingston, Goldsteins. Lousy food, dirty establishment, terrible parking, and the owner seems like a loose cannon.

Sandwiches were HUGE! If you get a sub, get a half, its still way more sandwich than one person needs. But, I thought it was slightly salty, french fries were tasty, service was good. We will be going back to try more!

I hit Dagwoods as often as I can. They even let me sit and play chess for an hour or so after I’m done with my lunch.

I’ve been here a few times, thinking I will eventually like something. The service is great, but the food is never that good for my tastes. The cheesesteaks are very bland and I’ve had a few mediocre sandwiches. Another place I want to love, but the food fails to bring me back.

One of the best Sub spot’s in Kingston hands down!!! I remember when my best friend was hanging out with me, he lives in Allentown & he was like«Rodney where is their a good place to get a sub?». We were in Kingston so I was like I know the perfect place. He goes to place his order. He was so hungry & wanted the foot-long hoagie. I told him bro, the foot-long here you will not finish in one sitting you going to have to save it for later. He was like«No way» I said OK u will see. Well after eating the half he was like damn their is no place in Allentown that makes a sub like this.

Really surprised to see they only had 3 stars! Dagwood’s has always been great for me! Their buffalo chicken sandwich is my fav. Prices are decent and food is great, and staff friendly.

Dagwood’s is a favorite of mine and a must-go when I’m in town visiting my family. I remember when this place opened up when I was in highschool and the rave reviews spread like wildfire. They have an extensive deli menu that could help you satisfy every craving imaginable. This place is great for lunch — quick, friendly service and priced just right, most oftentimes cheaper and better quality food than you can get at other places. The guy who runs the joint is always working at the front counter every time I go in. To me, that says dedication. He’s always pleasant and makes sure you get what you want very fast, and that it’s right. My favorite here is the buffalo chicken wrap — something savory but not too heavy for lunch time. But like I said before, everything here is good. I just wish this place had better hours! They’re usually closed by 7pm, making it a true lunch/early dinner spot. They have two rooms of seating, one of which I still believe is for smokers. All in all, a really nice mom-and-pop neighborhood deli.
