Mainetti, Mainetti & O’Connor. P.C. was established in 2001 in Kingston N.Y. We opened two new offices in 2014, one in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and one in Newburgh, N.Y., to better serve our clients throughout the Hudson Valley.

Business Owner

Alfred Mainetti is the senior partner of Mainetti, Mainetti & O’Connor, P.C. He graduated with a B.A. from Monmouth College, Monmouth Illinois in 1969. Al received a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School in 1972 and returned to New York to begin his practice. In a few years Al was a partner in his own firm and thereafter with his younger brother Victor Mainetti as Mainetti & Mainetti. In 1992 Victor Mainetti tragically died of cancer at the age of 37. His name is maintained in the firm title. In 2002 Al became partners with Joseph O’Connor and Mainetti, Mainetti & O’Connor, P.C. was founded. Al specializes in personal injury litigation, is a member of the American Association of Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers, and A.B.A. He has been recognized as a New York State Super Lawyer.

Al married Josephine 34 years ago and has two sons, Michael and Alexander. Both graduated from Albany Law School and are associates in the firm. All the Mainetti men played football, among ot
