I come here for the sushi deal lunch, which is a great deal. 2 roles for $ 8.95 and 2 for $ 10.95. I have not tried hibachi yet, but I want to. The sushi is pretty good and takes care of my sushi fix. Chef is really friendly and goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy. I will update my review once I have a chance to try the hibachi.

Outside wasn’t the most appealing, smelled a little fishy when we walked in, not sure if it was the live pond or the sushi bar itself; which causes you to wonder whether or not the fish is fresh… We were seated promptly, inside is a bit dark and gloomy, was disappointed when they didn’t have Saki only beer which was a huge disappointment, what Japanese restaurant doesn’t serve Saki? Our waiter was great about the only great thing, sushi is fair, quite bland and not what we are used too, considering the location/area probably pretty hard to find what we have in our home town. The fried rice wasn’t what fried rice is like any where else, but was good, liked that they bring you a huge container of yum yum sauce for you to have with your meal without having to ask.

Great menu. Very tasty sushi with lots of specialty rolls. Fish has always been fresh which is hard to come by in a land locked state. Hibachi is great as well. Staff is always friendly and kind. They only serve beer, no wine or mixed beverages. They are in the process of changing this according to their signage.

For Kingsport I think this is a great hibachi restaurant. The sushi was also legit. I would go give it a try!!!
