Star Trails Downtown specializes in local and regional art created by artists within a 90 mile radius of the Tri-​Cities. We carry all mediums of art from photography and painting to metal sculptures, glass, jewelry, etc. We also have a classroom for art classes teaching all mediums of art and it can also be rented out for private parties as well.

History

Established in 2012.

Star Trails was started by photographer Rob Beverly to bring more art to Downtown Kingsport and the Tri-​Cities. It is setup to be very «artist friendly» gallery to allow the artists of the area to have an opportunity to have their art seen and a chance to make money to pursue their dreams.

My name is Rob Beverly and I am originally from Wise, Va, The past 11 years I have called Kingsport, TN my home and it truly is home. I absolutely love living in these beautiful mountains in a small town atmosphere. I have always loved being outside and enjoying the beauty that God has given us, but I enjoy even more when I can document it and others can enjoy God’s majesty through my lens and how I see it. I love taking day, weekend and week-​long adventures and just spending time in nature and talking to God. When I have my camera in hand and am on top of a mountain… I feel like He is right there with me.

Starting Star Trails Downtown is a branch of my photography dream and I love working with the many different artists.

I have also been blessed with the most amazing and wonderful family on this earth. We are very close and love spending time together and just having fun. I owe so much of the person I have become, to the unconditional love of my family!
