E Stirewalt Heating And Air

My wife and I were visiting my 86 year-​old mother-​in-​law in Kingsport in August 2014 from San Diego Ca. and upon arriving we found that her air conditioning was non-​functional.
We did not did not know who to call for repair services.
On blind faith, we researched some local air conditioning websites, contacted a couple of companies in the morning, and selected E. Stirewalt Heating and Air because he sounded honest and upfront.
Based on the information that I provided about my mother-​in law’s older 1991 Rheem unit, Mr. Stirewalt scheduled a very reasonably priced inspection.
He was able to quickly accommodate us by coming out that same afternoon. Not only did he patiently educate me and explain the process that he went through to trouble-​shoot this older unit’s problems, but he was also diligent in correcting the previous poor repair service that was done 2 years prior by a different repair service.
He changed the previously incorrectly installed capacitor to the appropriate capacitor and replaced the fan motor which had burned out because of the last incorrect repair service.
Eric worked in the miserable heat outside for hours maintaining a courteous and positive attitude. His rates were very reasonable.
We feel very blessed to have found him to help our mother and highly recommend him.
