I was surprised how easy it was to find great import German beer at a small, local place like this. Prices are great as well. Larger stores don’t carry a good selection of this type of beer, so I will definitely return.

I recently called from out of state to purchase an uncommon beer. I had previously emailed the store & received a quick response. Bharat, who I was working with, was very pleasant and efficient. He did not rush me off the phone or make me feel like I was a bother, as there were several details involved with this transaction. I was very pleased with the customer service and my shopping experience.

I was meeting some friends for the weekend and was looking to pick up a quick six pack. Wasn’t sure what to expect not being from the area, but they had a very nice selection of local and imported beers. The staff was knowledgeable and I ended up walking out with a growler (luckily I keep a spare in the trunk) of knee deep simtra IPA. Overall, a nice beer store if you’re in the area and looking for some craft beer.

This is a very small place with a very large selection of craft and imported beers. Also a couple of taps for growler fills. The owner is really friendly and quite knowledgeable about the beers he carries. He regularly switches up his inventory so you can always find something new and different to try. And since he knows his customers, you can trust his recommendations. A true gem in little ol’ KP.

Just stopped by this place. The selection is fantastic! I had been looking for a place in the area like this to find the smaller micro brews and some better craft selection and this is it. Prices are what you’d expect of it being the only place offering these brews however.

Don’t let this building’s unremarkable exterior fool you, because the treasures inside are far from ordinary! It took me 6 months of living in the area before I walked into this store, but now I’m a regular. Their beer selection is amazing, and the owner knows quite a bit about beer. Want the best IPA? They’ve got it. Want a good seasonal? It’s in stock. They’ve got beer from microbreweries representing seemingly every state, and beer from the big guys as well, although their focus is definitely on specialty brews. And their store hours are very convenient.
And growlers! They fill growlers! They regularly have 4 kegs tapped ($ 5 deposit on a new growler, but wash it out and bring it back for refills). The breweries on tap seem to usually be Dogfish Head, Flying Dog and Bear Republic.
The only drawback is a high price tag, but that’s to be expected with specialty beers.

I’ve been going here since I was a child and it has changed owners many times. The owner now is doing a great job. There is a wide variety of drinks as well as some snacks too.
