I have been getting my hair done with Deborah for about 17 years. I absolutely love the way she does my hair. People always ask if I dye my hair, Debbie has such a great way of making color last a long time and look natural. Debbie can do anything. I always come in with different things I want to do to my hair and she always makes it look amazing! Not only is she great at cutting and coloring hair, she also is great at event hair and makeup. She did my whole bridal parties hair and makeup. I never felt more beautiful than I did that day. Tahoe cutting company is the only place I will go to get my hair done and is worth ever penny.

I was able to schedule a cut for exactly when I wanted it. However, the stylist (not Barbara) butchered me. I keep a short, sassy cut, and ended up being shaved around my ears and having long man-​like sideburns. She chopped and chopped and chopped until my hair was less than an inch long. A men’s military cut is what I ended up with when I brought in a picture of a long pixie. Cheap prices, but you get what you pay for.

Called and was able to get in fifteen minutes later, and brought my almost 2 year old daughter with me. Great haircut, fair price, and they were very sweet with my little girl (even gave her a little Hershey kiss for the road!). Would definitely come back!

Last summer I came to Tahoe Cutting Company for the first time to get my hair cut and colored for my Tahoe Wedding. The experience was literally transformative! Deborah was gracious, kind, caring, gentle and a fun happy human being! :) She made me feel amazing, and transformed my hair from a ratty mop of tangled hair into a silky soft, beautifully styled nicely colored do! My hair looked and felt great at my wedding, and with the grey gone, I felt transformed as well! Sitting in that beautiful antique chair and excitedly talking about my wedding with Deborah, all the stress of the previous months melted away, and I was finally able to get REALLY excited about my wedding! :) This week, while back in Tahoe, I came back to to see Deborah. No one has touched my hair since last August. She was as awesome and kind and gentle and caring as I remembered, and she made my hair look and feel awesome once again! Thank you Deborah! You are a remarkable woman and a great stylist! :) I’ll be BACK! :)

Just got a trim from Cindy. LOVE it! She did exactly what i asked. The salon is a bit kitschy and small but the service was great! I walked in off the street and was sat right down. I will not be going anywhere else!

I love getting my manicures, pedicure and hair cuts from Cindy. She always does an amazing job and does the best shellac manis.

Blah! I just called here 5 minutes ago to schedule a hair trim and the lady on the phone said it would be $ 38! I just moved to this area so I let her know that I would call around because that’s a lot more than I’m used to paying for just a basic trim. She got very upset and said «well that’s your perogative if you want to call around, but you’re paying for the years of experience here, and GOOD LUCK»! That’s definitely not a way to get customers. She said the appointment would be with Cindy. The next place I called said $ 21 and she sounded a lot more friendly… I’ll be going there shortly!
Update: A couple of days after I posted this, the owner, who I spoke with on the phone, sent me a message and admitted her demeanor wasn’t appropriate and she apologized. That meant a lot to me and I appreciate the effort. Thanks!

I have short hair and Deborah did a great job with the clippers. Easy to schedule an appointment with and very friendly.

I’d give them 6 stars if I could. I’ve had lot of cuts from lots of different places. But no one else does as good of a job as Deborah. Plus she’s really fun to talk to. Whether you live in the area or just visiting from out of town this place you are sure to get exactly what you want.

Tahoe Cutting Co. Is a great little gem for us to have here on the North Shore! Deborah stays up on all the current trends and is a pro at stylish haircuts and amazing color. I’ve had awesome rocker streaks, weaved feathers and many fabulous mainstream haircuts. She has a great way of helping me decide what will work for my hair, and suggests fun things to try. The new cabin is so cute and comfy– and in a great location for her to take walk-​ins. She is also great with my children… big plus!

Debroah Crosby (the salon owner) is the BEST colorist in Tahoe. i have gotten so many compliments on my new do! Love the new location, tucked back into the pines in a cozy, rustic «Tahoe’ cabin, if you are looking for a kick ass hairdo and a relaxing Tahoe experience, this is the place to go.

I was visiting from Las Vegas for a few days and had made an appointment to get my sorely neglected hair «did.» I did a search of nearby salons and boy, was I glad I was so close to Tahoe Cutting Company! Michelle answered the phone and I was able to make an appt with her. She was so sweet and accommodating I already knew I was in good hands.
When I showed up the next day I was immediately pleased by the ambience of the place! It was located in a refurbished old cabin (dating from the ’40’s.) it was very cozy and lovingly worked on. The owners’s creativity and attention to detail to evything tells you they will do the same for your hair! Michelle worked wonders on my hair. I’ve been living in Las Vegas for 9 years and can honestly say I’ve only had two good hair cuts. I was starting to think maybe it as just me, but seeing he job Michelle did on my hair realized no, too stylists are hard to come by. She gave me gorgeous, glossy color, mended a bad cut, and was awesome to talk to. Not only is she a great conversationalist who genuinely cares about her craft, she is a true people person and has such a great outlook and attitude. I really wish I lived closer to her, she’d def be my hair gal! :p. The owner was a sweetheart too; got to watch her interact with several customers and I can see this business being a hub for a lot of people. A great contribution to the community! :)
So, if you need your hair done this is the place! They are the real deal. No need to fear. And thank you Michelle, for restoring my faith in having a glorious head of hair again! :)
