Jiffy Lube

Girlfriend brought in her brand new Subaru Forester for an oil change. Jiffy Lube did not replace the crush seal /​gasket on the drain plug (standard practice is to replace when changed). Additionally, they rounded off the head of the bolt. Unfortunately the failure to replace the gasket caused a leak at the drain plug, leaving a spot wherever the vehicle was parked. They told us to bring it in to another jiffy lube and that they would remedy the situation. Though their customer service was good, I have to give them 2 stars, because neither the rounding of the bolt, nor the failure to replace the gasket should have occurred.

These friggin knuckleheads forgot to tighten my drain plug. Unreal.
Time before that they forgot to tighten three lugs after a tire rotation.
Pretty sure they’re trying to kill me wtf.

This shop does not do the work, but will charge you for it. They charged me for a new battery, did not put it in. They once charged me for an air filter change, they did not do it. One of their employees stole $ 10 out of my car, I had to call corporate for the «district manager» to refund me. This place is a fucking joke. You get what you pay for.

Wonderfully helpful people! Came to my aid in no time at all! Needed a new battery, they fixed it fast with no appointment.

I’ve been using the KoP Jiffy Lube for about a year now and have never had an issue – the first few years of my car it was always serviced at the dealer but after moving from AZ I will not go to the local Toyota Dealer (Sloane of Devon because they outright lied to me about a repair being necessary). The extras are never high pressure and you can always find a coupon on-​line. Only minor gripe is that they were out of stock of the rear window wiper blade on my Matrix.

I called them at 4:45 and asked if they had time to top off my transmission fluid. David answered the phone, seemed very helpful and straightforward, and told me to come right over. He said he would also check my other fluids as well.
I live about 15 minutes away, and my dad’s car is a pain in the ass to drive through hilly back roads because it has trouble changing gears (hence my need for transmission fluid). I was going to fill it up today to hold me over for the long drive to the mechanic my dad wants to use to look at the car.
I arrive around 5:05, and a nice man named Phil walked up to me and asked me if he could help me… only to tell me that they closed at 5 and had already shut everything off, and that David had already left for the day.
Thaaanks, David.
Then, I had to drive the crappy hunk of metal back home. Crawling up hills, not knowing whether or not you’re going to make it, is a greeeaaat time.
To be fair, I did not ask them what time they closed. However, I don’t think I was wrong in assuming that they were open until at least 5:30. At first, he offered to service my entire transmission, and the way he described it doesn’t make it sound like an in and out kind of thing. Shouldn’t you at least warn me that you’re closing soon so I don’t waste my time?
There were good intentions there, but I did not get what I wanted and I was pretty livid.

I have taken my car here numerous times, I have not had any problems with this place. They usually take care of what i need and get me out very quickly. Great for an oil change, just be able to say «no» to extras and you’ll be fine.

In a world gone mad… a man can still get his oil changed and have it just the way he likes it. On time and under budget. Great score!
If I go into too much detail about the service, I might start to get depressed about how I couldn’t make time to do it myself and save the 30 bucks… anyway…Great Service… and perfect location for yuppie car watching off DeKalb! Score! Go and enjoy!
